Put My Words To Music.

I'm your watercolors un committing to design
Like a puddle without reflection and the streets without their signs
The ideas that you've been scratching to remove the smell of rain
But instead your digging in my skin exposing me to pain
Your the record I keep playing to rewind back to your lies
Helping keep a heart safe distance, and detect nearing goodbyes
Papercuts like broken hearts paint bruises on my smile
Just like sweaty promises, you knew weren't all worthwhile
I'll stretch my daytime weakness and save drama in a box
Pinch the stupid things I say and hope it's one that locks
Your eyes are un accusing but you're made of bitter shades
You're the building blocks of carelessness & sharp like razor blades
All the girls are tickled pink when you tape them on your wall
So naive to feel this way we are blind to when we fall
Suck up all my energy and tell me how it tastes
To be the one to make our shapes and lay our hopes to waste
You're hushing my lips and fingertips but nighttime lets me pass
Excuses so perpetual i sit smudging words on glass
I'm far below the surface of things you really see
Held by hands of bitterness with pieces i can't be
I'm tangled up in kisses and snagged on words you say
Sacrificing everything when nothing is okay

Autumn Eyes

Summer twilight lent to wither
Our pastel sky now streaked with bitter
Submerging a quiet sadness, a heavenly pain
Never removing this wakeless restrain
Colassal skies trickle red
Unveil 'September endings' until the day we wed
We carve our names and cement our love
Praise our granted patience sent from above

...But roses bleed in essence
...& the stars glow less, failing in vengence
...Shadows reign my thoughts, purely sad and discontent
...Time dresses in distractions and we yearn for where it went

(Going Back)-

Together under a formation of stars
In the light from above and any passing cars
A dozen wishes for a range of things
Carried so far by generous wings
Alone with you two blushing hearts
Time craves the traffic slicing air like darts
Our hourglass so secretlyhollow,
A soldier's farewell is desperation hard to swollow

...Rain drips less gently from those heavy clouds
...Autumn winds scream and tears decease below shrouds
...A silver glint sparks promises hovering
...Deminished is the point of living:
To BE CONTINUED...

Simple Rupture In These Eyes-Never Overheard

Beauty portraying something more
A weakness seeping through the core
A personality of strands so soft, escaping
only through the skin
Wearing lines now die within
It takes so much now to be a "pretty girl"
All decked out, a perfect glow, complete
disguise and every pearl
Always what everyone wants to see
Few can play real to a subtle degree
So I'll mix this reality into something
less true
& Polish my daily smile to be the perfect
gorgeous or whatever it is like you..

A Haloed Promise Around Your Wrist

Slip a promise, grasp my hand,
Seal our hearts with this blue band,
As I'll be yours and you forever mine,
Two hearts a lifetime match becomes the greater sign,
Wrapped up in you and time moves fast,
Trace the days in white, to know love will outlast,
Throughout the night within loose dreams,
Sinking deeper we're linked through seams...

Abstract Comfort

stars pour like lustrous rain as they separate
excreting lights tender in my eyes
if only it was that beautiful...
interruptions divide us in prismatic gloom
brittle hearts prick like needles to our veins
our kiss spreads a swell of heartache
passionate love is our survival
the moments change and we splinter into two
peaceless feelings breathe on the back of my neck
sadness compels a new voice of stone
tears cleanse the thoughts we smudge
in hopes to paralyze the days apart
scented airwaves salt our disintegrated stitches
my days cannot heal without you
I tattoo your smile on my mind
to raise the sky from the ground’s ambitions
flaking metaphors spill like dust
tacky love songs breed visions on obscure wings
elevated beyond the reach of time
I’ll get you back in a rainbow’s frequency
and sew the color to your eyes
kissing the flavor trickling from our hearts

Old Moments In Warmth

I bottle up my sacrifice,
As pain for now becomes my vice,
Pensive songs scream depth in vein,
My weakness now a wholesome strain,
Enduring sheets of iced betrayal,
Our world becomes a grave lain stale,
If worlds collide repair my past,
Let autumn rise and time outlast,
Count eighteen months back to grey hearts,
Unlick the stamps, unwrite these charts,
Of days until you come back home,
Moments when we felt alone,
Nights in tears and distance aching,
Dreams of you and always waking,
To find that you are really gone,
Just want to say "I miss you Shawn",
& though life's spinning something's wrong,
No longer breathing our sweet song,
Weekends always feel so bland,
Crowded now by tough command,
Our springs run dry and clouds fall blue,
The taste of love now sits to brew,
But when you are returned to me,
Lifetime is my one decree,
One blessing I asked Him to grant,
Forever and always I'll continue to chant,
Kisses sweep my cheeks in shadow,
Seranading wishes will rightfully hallow...

Spilling Smiles On the Ground

fill my eyes with your only desire
replace my name with the taste you crave
something we both remember
butterflies settle on vines
that hold our hearts loosely
i watch my heart walking as i pass it by
i want to feel breathless when we sit close
Cupid can tug at these feelings and we'll play along
trip over words we know so well
flirt with temptations and play these simple games
kiss shyly and pretend to know less
sip on those tricky glances
when your eyes meet mine and our hearts bleed the same
luring passionate suggestions
whisper a shiver up my spine
put emphasis on the stars above
pull at time and follow it in the dark
weave a new pulse spinning threads of excitement
leave an evening to each other
turn the tv screen to black
listen in silence to yearning sentiment
reopen old chapters to when we were shapeless

The Deeper Side

Live on now and dont confide
The swell of pain for now to hide
If pain resides it's past repair
This rain of tension fills the air
Within a life I am the case
Light fullfills the time of grace
Render torture, a new fuel
Fresh wounds drip ashes scarlet and cruel
Dull light upholds this doom
Now and forever this feeling will loom...

My Smile In Ink

I dip my smile in something of an illusion
You know my heart as a book without pages
Pinning your wings to the envy in my eyes
My words bleed through your bandage
This mirror tugging at your shadow
An image chipped in black and white
The edge of my memory follows you
When petals fall hopeless from roses undead
I'll see your false halo in ugly deception
So iron your imperfections and bleach the stains white
Carry an image for when yours melts away
But until then
I'll wish on a star and watch it drop from the sky
Stare at the moon as it crumbles to my feet
With a touch of my hand leaves will turn brown
all beauty will die

Wish Upon the Rain

Scented mornings become a spill of bedlam
While her soul sweeps away stagnant rainbows
Sunset skies shower tears of filth
Ever-changing from warm to gray
Laying oceans built from tears beneath memories
As she had it planned the night before...

Sadness bids at her doorstep
Reminding her of the task
Silently waking she kisses each petal
Two notes have already been penned
Lips glazed with fresh color
Eyes penciled black
Her cheeks glow pink in the darkness
Stars hang by strings from the ceiling
A portrait of jealousy..
She pulls on a white dress made of satin
Candles warping the moment
A quality picture of contrast
Scarlet meets a porcelain figure
Breathing is a lost option

The chalky notes are the last of this girl
Her wings just weren't enough
The petals are left to her lover
She used her heart as a crayon
Pulling tears with each string
In the end nobody could help her
She lay broken as a statue
Abandoning everything

The second note she read out loud
Their sobbing could be heard
From every neighbor's doorstep
A world that never noticed
Was stamped with every word
