Spilling Smiles On the Ground

fill my eyes with your only desire
replace my name with the taste you crave
something we both remember
butterflies settle on vines
that hold our hearts loosely
i watch my heart walking as i pass it by
i want to feel breathless when we sit close
Cupid can tug at these feelings and we'll play along
trip over words we know so well
flirt with temptations and play these simple games
kiss shyly and pretend to know less
sip on those tricky glances
when your eyes meet mine and our hearts bleed the same
luring passionate suggestions
whisper a shiver up my spine
put emphasis on the stars above
pull at time and follow it in the dark
weave a new pulse spinning threads of excitement
leave an evening to each other
turn the tv screen to black
listen in silence to yearning sentiment
reopen old chapters to when we were shapeless
