Do You Remember When We First Met

Do you remember when we first met,
And talked for hours till the sun has set,
I ran in circles to get your attention,
Flew half way around the world to show my intention.

It was just a simple dinner to set the scene,
Exchanging glances like we were teens,
And time eventually gave as the chance,
To start what became a whirlwind romance.

And so I got down on bended knee,
To ask the hand of my wife to be,
And you said with a stuttered voice,
"Yes you fool because you have no choice."

Days, months and years went by and by,
With ups and downs and laughs and cries,
And though our story has grown and changed,
The love we had still remained.

You see this letter is meant for you,
Many years from now,
When we are grey and old,
Our children grown,
And my hair is bald.
With your weary hand in mine,
I will read this to you line by line,
Of a story that started as some kind of wonderful,
Created a timeless sonnet of indescribable love so pure and beautiful.

For Your Eyes Only

Come walk with me I have something to show,
Close your eyes and I can't tell you where we'll go,
Do not peek because it might just ruin,
All I can say it's a special something.

Before you open your eyes I have something to ask,
It's not a trick question or some kind of task,
And by the way you bite your lips I know you're curious,
You're probably wondering if it's quite serious.

So while I get down on my knee upon this sand,
I promise not to let go of your shivering hand,
Keep you eyes closed no cheating please,
Just bare with me I know I tease.

So I guess my question is,
Oh wait I think there's something I missed,
Let me just find it just breathe for now,
I'm sorry I'm doing something I never knew how.

My question is 'Do you think you can open your eyes?'
Because I have here something for you I hope you wont despise,
And if you can't bare to talk just nod your head,
Or maybe an approving kiss instead.

Let me wipe what I hope are happy tears,
Please forget all your fears,
I am here whether you don't like it or you don't,
Because to leave your side I won't.

You are my psychedelic serendipity,
My crazy curiosity,
But just simply,
The only one for me.

Maybe Just Maybe

We wonder with each coming day,
Of people and places and things we say,
Waiting for that something, somewhere and someone,
Holding our breath as we count from ten to one,
When we do choose to open our eyes,
Awaken from our dream lullaby,
Do we take a good look around?
Do we realize what we have found?
Or do we hold our dissatisfied frowns?
And focus on things that keep us down.

Maybe we live our lives so full of envy,
Always thinking of what it could be,
And just like that something special passes by,
Too late to even give a try.

Maybe, just maybe it could be you and I,
To find that something and somewhere beneath this sky,
And if you open your heart and mind for just one second,
I promise to you in just one moment,
I can show you that the world ain't so bad,
And energize you so you ain't so sad,
And maybe, just maybe,
Your smile will glow,
And love you once gave so freely will flow.

Only Human

I know your face,
Your familiar eyes,
You pass by my window,
Each morning rise.
Your weary bones,
Covered by clothes soaked from last night's cries.

Each time I wanted to say hello,
And ask if things are fine,
But your sadness,
Hidden by your brittle hair,
Makes me forget my line.

Through thin walls,
I hear your silent fragility,
And the monster who comes late at night,
Who takes advantage of your vulnerability.
My heart bellows,
Your painful yelps echoes,
Yet still I lay in bed,
So many sorrows running through my head.
I feel your stare,
Your window eyes,
Each morning rise.
Ashamed of the clothes I'm in,
Which hide my pain within,

I hoped each day.
You might have something to say,
But I guess someone like me,
Even a hello,
Just cannot be.

With just these walls between us,
I press my hand upon,
I would call your name if I knew,
To get me out of this dungeon,
From the monster who imprisons me.
Will my reaching tears,
Be loud enough to hear?
A waling siren woke me,
I peer through the window and see,
A linen covered stretcher rolls pass,
And I dared not to ask,
Have I waited too long?
And heard your final song.

I walk out and to my surprise,
Glancing at me are those same eyes,
As they take you away,
I felt you had something to say,
But no words could leave your shivering lips,
Like a ghost ship,
Abandoned long ago,
An empty vessel,
Drained of life,
Just a shell of a battered wife.

Secret Affairs

Unsatisfied with expired love,
Smiles on the outside just for show,
Wanting something she can't have,
Something her husband can't ever know.

Her name exists in bits and bytes,
Her true self hidden from light,
Sleepless endless nights,
She still fights.

A hundred different likes,
Yet still left a feeling of alone,
Holding her silent phone,
Days come by, days gone.

She found a secret remedy,
A stranger from afar,
A connection like no other,
Infectious hidden fever.

One day there maybe regrets,
When true lies have met,
But for now she smiles again,
A secret escape every now and then.

I Love You

I wonder why the world exist
To live within i can resist
The sun could rise through rain or shine
But without my love i will resign.

Long is my journey to search for you
Across to a desert without a view
A paradise that i have lost
To find you is my only boast.

One time i wish to have a chance
To dream of you in moonlight dance
Like a bird that swing and sings
And wake by the bell that rings.

Voice that tells me "That's enough"
To love is just to make me laugh
I tried my best for just a test
But found myself a serious pest.

East and west i tried to see
My love even or over the sea
Wind and wave won't see me free
I will sail with a trunk of a tree.

Yes! I will do my very best.
To find my love and we will rest
Up in the heaven God will say
Cheer up! And have a nice day!

Oh! How happy i would be!
   Smiling like a bumble bee
A flower that must only be
   Exclusive for a bumble bee

Unite our hearts, to you oh God
To fall in love is not too bad
The only thing to you i ask
To love him much, my only task.

It Would Take Only You

It would take billions of stars to make a picture perfect night sky,
Countless grains of sand to complete the most stunning beaches,
Dozens of red roses to flutter many waiting hearts,
A symphony of songs created from hundreds of melodies,
And thousands of poems to ignite hopeless romantics,
But for me,
It would take only you,
To brighten my night,
To be amazed in wonder,
To soften my heart,
To create my music,
And create hope in a world filled with doubts.

Love Conquers All

It's late in the morning,
Just watching you sound asleep,
A kiss I lay upon your shoulder,
Brings a dreamy smile,
From my sweet surrender.

I maybe at times grow tired of this world,
I know I say it each day's end,
But coming home to you,
Gives me more than enough reasons,
Why I do what I do.

Love conquers all,
If only more people believed it true,
Then the world would give in,
To the same unconditional love I have for you.

There Can Be Only One

Like standing over the edge of the tallest mountain,
You invigorate every one of my senses,
You excite my deepest emotions,
You move my world in motion
Your smile sends me to the deepest abyss,
Your lips assures me that god exist,
There's nothing else I could bare resist,
With every minute, every second,
every breath, its you I miss
And if by chance you see my way,
I lay in wait for our special day,
when I can finally say,
your mine my own
and forever here to stay.

Maybe I'Ll Just Wait a While

Even the fading moonlight reflects your radiant beauty,
While the whisper of the waves envy your serenity,
My cold hands could only tremble while tracing your face,
While my other hand's reluctant to even hold your waist,
Your eyes remind me of stars still undiscovered from prying eyes,
Your lips tempt me so intoxicatingly high,
Yet the flowing breeze teases me with your sweet perfume,
For so long I have wondered and assumed,
What it would be like to be this close to you,
To feel a deep sense of passion so fresh so new,
And if I do close my eyes to kiss your lips,
Would you still be there when they open?
So maybe I'll just wait a while,
Make it last for as long time would let it be,
Holding you this way is more than enough,
More than I expected I could have.
