Secret Affairs
Unsatisfied with expired love,
Smiles on the outside just for show,
Wanting something she can't have,
Something her husband can't ever know.
Her name exists in bits and bytes,
Her true self hidden from light,
Sleepless endless nights,
She still fights.
A hundred different likes,
Yet still left a feeling of alone,
Holding her silent phone,
Days come by, days gone.
She found a secret remedy,
A stranger from afar,
A connection like no other,
Infectious hidden fever.
One day there maybe regrets,
When true lies have met,
But for now she smiles again,
A secret escape every now and then.
