The Cutter

She went to sleep
closing her eyes
beginning to dream
of broken butterflies
tearing her lovely monarch wings
on faithless love that angels sings...

She finds shiny metal in kitchen sink
in an evening absent light
she finds peace in cuts of pink
watching crimson blood flow feels so right..

Starlight shines upon her tears
I whisper darling, you cannot bleed
all of your suicidal fears
at night when you begin to cry
I'll sing you a lover's lullaby..

My love do not wish that you were dead
dreaming of an absent pulse
laying on silken sheets bleeding red
I will offer love so do not bleed
give me your knife I am all you need...

Call It Love

The night it is barren
from inland to the sea
but I am the one who loves you
you are not alone.

Tonight the sky is empty
stars fall in the sea
I am the light to guide you
do not wish to be alone.

If the world becomes deserted
all eyes you see are sad
I will smile for you
you will never be alone.

Sleeping I dreamed you
awake I keep dreaming
I dream because you love me
and I am not alone.

It is sometimes madness
a longing absentee
call it love
and we are not alone...

Dampened Sheets

I am the sultry silence
the wishbone
of your dreams
feel my warm breath
slither down your throat
across your chest
feel my transparent tongue...

We rage the erotic battle
I feel your pulse race
my fingers of flame
caress all that is yours
I am your imagination
arching above your feminine form
I sink slowly into you...

Just so you know my love
you will never be able
to shake me from your dreams
I will seduce you to a place
beyond mere thoughts and words
tonight, dream of us...

Love Poem For a Witch

My love
we celebrate your birth
on this night of Sanhaim
when the worlds are whisper-thin
and your magic sings its sweetest song.

Your love draws stars from the sky
lures spirits from the tombs
snow falls from the summer sky
a love so sacred and magical.

Let us meet
surrounded by forest
as the wind
whispers its secret to the trees
we seek the sacred creek
leading to the river that caresses the earth
where flowers rise in rapture to the sun.

This day I am yours
you are mine
we are inseparable in death
by any power or pain
for it is such true love
no death awaits us.

Come with me my love
come back to the one
feel my spirit and take flight
let us see all of creation
let us seek favor from the divine.

God and goddess we shall become
gods of true and powerful devotion
let us be graced
by the moon goddess
by the dragon of the stars
allowing us to burn hot with passion.

Let us draw from the power of the earth
alive and solid
beneath our feet
fertile valley of existence
all our wants and needs
will be satisfied.

Embrace this love
blessed be
your feet
your knees
your womb
your breasts
your lips
blessed be your soul.

My sweet love scented by jasmine
I seek you on the silver slant of moonlight
beautiful moon goddess
your magic is all enthralling
I succumb to your witches cry
I come to your lair softly lit
your Wiccan pattern on the floor to guide me
save me from the river of flames
with the manifestation of your desires
for in you my lover
I am charmed...

On Sunday Morning

Possess
have
hold
enjoy
control
dominate...

Baby choose your verb
this Saturday night I intend
to explore so very many of them...

You taste sweet
like oranges
liquid sunshine in my mouth...

Let us drink from the fountain of love
where every drop
is eternal passion...

Let us supernova
creating new worlds
as we crash into one another

upon the soft surface of my mattress
a cloud in the darkness
our bodies falling together like rain...

Let us be animals
as animals
don't know sin...

I LOVE you
that is a beginning
that is the end

that is everything...

On Sunday morning
brown and silky soft
Sermon
of your skin...

The altar
of your hair...

The goddess curve
of your hips

will have me
speaking
in tongues...

Icarus Rejoice

She said,
love gives us wings
therefore lover,
we belong to the heavens...

Let us abandon
this frozen world
and fix ourselves
among the ceaseless blue stars...

Higher and higher
into the sky
you and I
will eternally fly...

Let us not
come too close to the sun
we may burn the tips of our wings
stay and be safe with me...

For in your eyes
is a burning sun
within you I find the end of space
and my wings are unpinned...

Black

Dream of love
All the colors
Absence of color
Black and white
Their beauty is absolute
Perfect harmony

What would the stars do
If the nights were not black
Streetlights would be lacking
Diamonds and fireflies
Need the black

A funeral passes by
Black cars and black hearses
Draped in fading flowers
The color of death
I think in black
Death should be
The color of sunset

My lover is black
She says
True love is or it ain't
Thin love is no love at all
To love and be loved
Is everything
It makes your soul
Climb out from its hiding place

Black is not sad
Bright colors depress me
They are empty
Black is poetic
It's how I imagine
The poet
Dressed in black...

Gravity

Without gravity
there would be no fallen angels
the something that always
pulls me back to you
love at first sight
it was gravity
not the earth pulling me to you...

I wish to be your word
the logos
your alpha and omega
to write I love you
in hieroglyphics
three bird letters...

Balanced are we
by mutual attraction
in circles we spin
the dance of lovers
we are a Tibetan mantra
the smile our bodies make...

Gravity is an affinity
the attraction of one thing to another
as a planet to a star
me to you...

Approaching infinity
Theta or love
harmony out of chaos
instead of the big bang
maybe it was more
like a feminine sigh
a sweet song
like a breeze in a field..

Love pulls me like gravity
to the smell of your hair
to the sound of your voice
taste of your lips
cool nights by the sea...

with you the stars
come closer at night
in your eyes of reflection
I sink into infinity
infinite delicate elements
glaring at the stars for evidence...

A space without pretentiousness
infinity is endless
gravity a symphony played brilliantly
loving you is divinity...

Autumn Enchantment

What autumn has bedecked
with plants, founts and flowers,
in colors of divine radiance
the sun hangs in the fourth sphere,
then comes purple daybreak
beautiful sky brimful with stars,
none can match mi cielo,
the lovely parts of your face!

Your black hair lost in the forest
hands soft and delicate as lilies,
hidden partially beneath your coat
breasts and arms, engirdling your fantasy frame,
stay, elusive shadow of my beloved,
lovely illusion on this soft autumn day
sweet woman for whom I love so sadly,
image of enchantment I love the best...

Today autumn washes gently along the Gulf of Mexico,
I gather cones of pines in yellow baskets,
opening a liter of sparkling red wine,
come mi corazon, in the energy of the Harvest moon glow,
for inside your simple and tender heart
my numb dreams yearn to snuggle up,
just as when the night of autumn starts,
we cuddle like two birds in cozy nests!

Street People

Lingering (in foggy haze)

Silhouettes of lost souls

(basket people muttering)

Lingering

(as they always do)

Culture of poverty
holding up signs
will work for food
the barefoot children
HIV and hunger
the powerless mothers...

Lingering

Cult of personalities speak
(the politicians)
eager for answers we listen
to false hope.

Lingering

Embers dancing in the wind
and the Spanish Moss
that hangs from magnificent
oaks
begin to fall like funeral
draperies
that echo meaningless sighs...

Lingering...
