No Chain, No Charm

In Unison-
~No Chain, No Charm~

United we own
Firm, full of finest goodies-
Our ground of freedom.

United we stand
Firm from failure and horror-
On the ground of strength.

United we pray
Faithfully with open mind-
Our bliss is assured.

Person of Colour

Person of colour is coherently germane,
He is never insane.

Some things about this person of colour may seem strange,
He is simple and he is yet to engage.

This person of colour loves the critics,
It is from them, he ticks.

This person of colour is natural,
And so, he is not a trial.

This person of colour loves to exchange
Ideas beyond his range.

This person of colour loves keyboard,
Tis with this he comes on board.

This person of colour is a charcoal- a black beauty.
This person of colour is me.

Tiara In Her

This picture I pick is not her own,
It could be for a bimbo or a night trig.
This picture with me is not her own,
It could be for a sissy or a bleaching wig.
This picture I hold is not her own,
It could be for a lousy or a neglected lass.
This picture with me is not her own,
It could be for a demon or a girlie class.

This picture I pick is no doubt her own,
It's obvious in her spotless face and her passionate grin.
This picture with me is really her own,
It's obvious in her modest crown and her sincere chin.
This picture I hold is no doubt her own,
It's obvious in her ideal stroll with her gorgeous rose.
This picture with me is really her own,
It's obvious in her charming blouse and her classy pose.

I Don'T Know of Later

That I am alive today
Is His grace I should exalt.
That I conceives thoughts
And am able to interprete them
Into words for minds to receive
Is another reason I think
He deserves my praise.

This new episode of my life
Is like a dream.
A dream that
Perhaps I know
Where its starts
But I don't know
Where and when
It will end.

A nation of pieces may not contain
My words,
My feelings,
My emotion,
My desires...
For now.
I don't know of later.

Am Glad You Do

___I'm glad you do___

I'm glad you feel me
I'm glad you free me
I'm glad you do help me
‘o sing again.
I'm glad you move it
I'm glad you roll it
I'm glad you do pop it
‘nd make me whole.

In the history, those days won’t soon be forgotten
‘till this time, your words still worth a fortune
They will go nowhere; they will be with me forever
Those nights we shared, they will grow in me as ever.

I'm glad you feel me
I'm glad you free me
I'm glad you do help me
‘o sing again.
I'm glad you move it
I'm glad you roll it
I'm glad you do pop it
‘nd make me whole.

As ever, you're the light I use to see
You're my savior, the one that set me free
You're an angel, that angel at the fore
You're a heroine, that heroine of the war.

I'm glad you feel me
I'm glad you free me
I'm glad you do help me
‘o sing again.
I'm glad you move it
I'm glad you roll it
I'm glad you do pop it
‘nd make me whole.

You set me free and still stay by me
You let me feel… the fresh of where I be
You succor to the battle you do not begin
You let me live… though you do not commit a sin.

I'm glad you feel me
I'm glad you free me
I'm glad you do help me
‘o sing again.
I'm glad you move it
I'm glad you roll it
I'm glad you do pop it
‘nd make me whole.

You're my light, the one I use to see
You're my savior, the one that set me free
You're an angel, that angel I met at the shore
You're that queen, my queen for sure.

I'm glad you feel me
I'm glad you free me
I'm glad you do help me
‘o sing again.
I'm glad you move it
I'm glad you roll it
I'm glad you do pop it
‘nd make me whole.

I'm glad about what you do
You make my heart brand new.
I'm proud of you
I'm glad you do...

I Rise

I rise
to catch the day,
Many weep to cuddle.
I rise to the super blessings-
Those ones that parade around vivid earth,
The rooted crust and resources.
I rise to the rainbow-
Arch of colours
Contest.

Tribute To Linda

Not
Long
I
Know
this
'lady'
This
lady
names
LINDA
On
this
amiable
platform
Calls
POETRYSOUP
Not
Long
I
started
to
write
On
this
platform
And
not
long
I
was
Recognised
as
one
of
the
distinguished
being.

On
whose
auspices
did
I
know
about
my
worth?
On
the
auspices
of
the
popular
Poet
Destroyer
A.

Though
I
didn't
know
LINDA
in
person
And
I
am
not
sure
she
knows
me
either
But
honestly
speaking
She
is
one
brilliant
POETESS
My
pen
owes
Tribute.

Let
me
start
from
her
poetry
The
one
I
have
found
so
amazing...
Full
of
art,
full
of
love,
full
of
zeal,
full
of
life,
Full
of
victory...
and
full
of
challenges.
And
talking
about
her
contest
Therein
I
have
found
neutrality.
That
is
why
I
am
not
afraid
When
my
pen
choses
her.

For
pen
about
her
commentaries
As
far
as
I
know
PD.
has
been
the
widest
'commentator'
I
have
ever
known
On
this
dignifying
arena.

Frankly
speaking
LINDA
alias
Poet
Destroyer
A
Worth
my
rose
and
wine
On
this
Drama
Free
Zone.

Dedicated
to:
LINDA,
Poet
Destroyer
A

Approvals I Should Praise

Approvals I Should Praise

The rhythm of my pen knows no bounds
Its ticks, treks, and steps knows no count.
The songs on my lip just loose the count.
No where, I suppose to untie the bond.

Strong bones are so much in here
They touch and squeeze out letters bountifully.
In these bones, many light I have received gracefully.
Linda is one, Andrea is two among all of you there.

You are all amazing guests in this field
Cup of water..., cup of tea come to toast.
Many hugs, many thanks to you, writ and host.
... Eden that crowns my garden and its yields.

Special parcel to my coy mistress, Linda.
All sea, roses...and sweet showers to you.
And my lady Andrea; always brand new!
I love you all... your words in my wall are tender.

Dedicated to:
 Poetrysoup,
Poet Destroyer A,
Andrea Dietrich
and to the rest of Poetrysoupers.

I am Grateful for your warm welcome.

God, the Almighty

From the west to the east
You are there
Up the north, down the south
You are there
Oh! Oh!! Lord
You are there
God, the Almighty
You're there

How the wind blows
You are there
How the sky blue
You are there
When the breeze sways
You are there
When the cock crows
You are there
You are the Almighty
You are the Holy Lord
You are the king of king
You are the eternal God.

From the west to the east
You are there
Up the north, down the south
You are there
Oh! Oh!! Lord
You are there
God, the Almighty
You're there

That the crop grows
You are there
That the sky rain
You are there
That the grass green
You are there
That man lives
You are there
You are the provider
The savior
You are the immortal Lord
The eternal God

From the west to the east
You are there
Up the north, down the south
You are there
Oh! Oh!! Lord
You are there
God, the Almighty
You're there

God, the Almighty
You are Lord
You that bless the sea
You are Lord
You that forgive sins
You are Lord
You are our guidance
You are Lord
You are the Almighty
Yes you are
You are the Holy Lord
Yes you are
You are the king of king
Yes you are
You are the eternal God.
Yes you are

From the west to the east
You are there
Up the north, down the south
You are there
Oh! Oh!! Lord
You are there
God, the Almighty
You're there

You are the Almighty
Yes you are
You are the Holy lord
You are there
God, the Almighty
Yes you are
You are always with us
You are here
You are the king of king
Yes you are
You are the immortal
Yes you are
You are the eternal God
Yes you are

Go, the Almighty…

One Country, One World

Which nation of the world
Do I belong?
I belong to the nation
Of unity,
No transgression,
And freedom for all.

I belong to the nation
Of Equalities-
Equality between
Proletariat and aristocracy
Disabled and abled
Woman and man
Young and old
Black and colored
People and nation
Right and rule...

I belong to the nation of peace
Across the land, the sea and the sky.
And peaceful stretch to the arboreal.
And Peace of souls,
Of bodies
And minds.

My belonging
Is my strength-
The rhythm that keeps me growing.
Though I was born a Nigerian.
Not I neglects being call
American, Ghanaian, Portuguese
Chinese, Korean, Indian...
Though I'm by virtue
Of land mass
An African
Not do I dismiss
In unison unit
That type me Asian,
North American,
South American,
European,
Australian
And Antarctica.

I belong to
A nation,
A voice...
One country,
One world.
