His Words

"UH-oh" he says when I call out his name.
"uh-oh" he replies when I say it again.
"Mama" is what I hear when it's something he wants,
And fights 'till the end 'cause he knows he can win.
"dada" comes home,
"Dada" is the phone,
And most everything else at this point.
Spoiled rotten is this boy
That I spend my days with.
Everyone says he's such a good baby,
If they only knew it was a myth!

Time To Relax

Time to relax,
Time to unwind.
So leave me alone
If you don't mind.

I'll roll me one up,
And light it and puff,
I'll smoke it all
Until I've had enough.

Then I'll put it away,
And have a nice day.
It only takes a minute,
Then I'm deep into it.
Now, what was I to do?

What's Wrong With You

You don't like my hair,
I cut it too short.
You look lie you use nair!
Your hair had to abort!

I need to lose weight.
My butt is too big.
You think you look great?
You look lie a pig!

Lazy and weak,
I act like a freak?
You would too
If you wore my shoe!

You love me, you hate me,
Make up your mind.
Open up and you might see
I'm a hell of a find!

What's wrong with you?
I think I know,
What I need to do.
I don't want to go.

Steamin

The sun is so hot,
Not a cloud in the sky.
Like water boiling in a pot.
This is not how I want to die.
I place my cold drink
Up to my neck.
My skin's turning pink
As I lye on this deck.
My body drenched with sweat,
How much more can I take?
Every inch of me is wet,
As I stay out here and bake.
It's good, It's bad.
Sunshine, all the rays.
For me its not a fad
No matter what they say!

I Don'T Wanna Fight

I don't wanna fight.
No more and not tonight.
If life is like a road,
And its time to pick a path,
The one that leads to you is closed.

I hope through all this
I can teach you a thing or two.
Because you don't know how to treat a woman..
I'm not coming back,
Not now, not ever.
Maybe then, the next time
A woman comes into your life,
She can stay.

Instead of " I hate you", thrown in a "I can't live without you".
In place of " you make me sick", maybe a
" you are special", or "you make me smile".

Here we are
In the same bar.
Is that a sign?
Yeah, a sign should leave.
It's been a long time
And you have crossed my mind.
No, don't walk over here
'Cause I don't want you to hear,

I don't wanna fight.
No more, and not tonight.
If life is a road, then I've chosen my path.

Me and My Friends

Me and my friends
Like to play outside.
We play duck, duck, goose;
Hide and seek,
and sometimes engine and caboose.
On different days of the week.

Me and my friends
Like to play inside.
Puzzles are great fun,
Video games too.
Inside we can't run.
There's still lots to do.

Me and my friends like to play
Inside or out, everyday.
Play is a verb.
That is so superb.

Courtesy of You

I'm lookin' for somethin'
To make me feel better.
I'm kinda sad, maybe blue,
And most of it's because of you!

Gonna shop til I drop
Courtesey of you.
Then head to the bar
And have me a few.

I might throw a pity party,
even dance on the bar.
You're not invited,
And I'm keepin' the car.

Gonna shop til I drop
Courtesey of you
Then head to the bar
and have me a few.

Bartender, can I call a cab?
Can I leave my car here?
I'm all partied out,
and had too many beers!

I'm standing at the door
143 Broken Road on the outskirts of town.
My family home where my mom lives now.
I knock and knock some more.
I hear the door open,
And I fall to the floor!
She laughs as she pulls me in.
It's nice to be on this couch again.

In no time at all
The sun will beat down.
Last night I had a ball,
Now Im wearin' a frown

Sopped til I dropped
Courtesey of you.
Then I went to the bar
and had me a bunch!

Your visa's maxed out
And your car's at the bar.
There's the phone.
Is it you or did I give that bartender my number

The Holidays

When I think about the holidays,
It's that feeling of ch
Waiting for Santa to come in his sleigh,
The smell of candy canes and pine.
It's almost a high.
Oh, and don't forget the pie!
Food, songs, blessings, and toasts,
Time with family, extended and close.
No present can be bought
That can take the place of the love.
From Thanksgiving to New Years
Our homes get colder.
Family is great to have near
To make it feel warmer.
Ribbons and bows are pretty,
And presents are great to give,
But it's the love of others
That makes them so special

Hey You

You look like a baby eating prunes.
Eyes all squinched
And mouth puckered,
Waiting for the hurt.

Do I scare you?
Or look that mean?

Let me try
to be more loving,
let me show you
how much i care.
I don't claim to know
All there is to know.
When it comes to love,
I'm learning as i go!

You teach me,
I'll teach you.
We can pass this test
And all the rest!

You Are

As Bon Jovi blares
I thinkabout you.
Livin' on a prayer?
That's what this feels like too!

Maybe you are my
Gift from God
To let me know he's real.

As I close my eyes,
I can feel your hand
Carressing my neck.
Now I need to be fanned!

I never wanted another man
The way I want you.
You've brought light
To a place that's been dark.
You are my white knight.
