Memories of the Sky

I wear the silence
From mother’s gentle palms
The scent of grass untouched
Summer reflecting heaven
In the clear blue horizon

I cross the air mountains
On the path of universe
Maybe there’s a shadow
A tree
Or the ants army
From my grandparents yard

It’s raining smiles and colors
A sign that God loves us
I’m here , you’re here
Touching our hands
Like in a secret prayer

Virile Thoughts

All men want freedom
To dream with their eyes wide open
During midday
So they can reach the sun
With just one nail
And take the whole universe
In their palms

Well, all men need respect
Even if
They find it funny
To show any emotion
Public or private

Oh, who said they wouldn't like
To love or to be loved
To admit they're defeated
By the eyes of their beloved women
Looking at them as to gods

In the Grass a Nightingale Sings

I woke up and the
Traces of snow have already been melted
By the warm rays of a childish sun
Who gained supremacy
In the fight with winter's cold
The arms of all trees
Creating a bridge
Almost touching the sky
Seemed to abandon his children
In a colorless lake
The road to you gets shorter
When the nightingale in the grass
Sings so beautifully
A song about resurrection

The Woman With the Silver Veil

The woman with the silver veil
Hides the world's mystery in her eyes
Keeps in her gentle palms
Fragments from the creation of humanity
A necklace of precious stones
Surrounding her neck
As a wax statue
Melted in a sandy paradise
When dancing to the music of the spheres
Moving her hands
Like the cranes in a hallucinating flight
She seems to be a rose
Covered in chains
In her world, a world of silence
There's so much peace
And so much inner light

The Empty Shell

Sometimes I forget to breathe
 In this solitude
 I try hard to remember
 My way back home

 Maybe I never had
 My own nest
 I just borrowed
 The others'
 As a young cuckoo
 Sick with Alzheimer

 Snow clears the shadows
 And any trace
 Of heavy steps
 So I can not return
 At my shell
 With rancid curtains
 From a cobweb

M

Mom, spring whispers to me
That every tear you shed
There in heaven
Will soon become a love song
And each prayer of mine
You hear
Mom, pick a flower
From the garden of angels
Send it to me
While gentle sleep steals my soul
Among the living
You know mom,
No matter how many doors they''ll open
No one can enter
The upper heart
Where I keep my childhood

Veil

You have all gone to other worlds
Where rocks are able to become trees
And stones a field with flowers
Sighs have no echo
To be heard
On the other side
Through the veil of tears
Mother's arms
Carrying a newborn
In my grandparents yard
A chestnut-haired child
Playing with the rainbow
Father kissing a soldier
Ready for the war
''Your heart 's still beating''
They shouted
And left me
In a sharp deep silence

Another Garment

I've learned the colors of love
While wearing another flesh
I've been there
Beyond the forest
With large culverts
Among rays of light

Strange dreams
Rangers cutting the oaks
That support our last tears
You know, separation is
The same way, but in reverse
Same field with grass freshly mowed
Birds singing together
A sad romance

It's true, I believe in curses
When death crawls
Reaching shadows
We''ll all wear
Another garment

Pathological Love

We breathe the same wind
That used to swing the leaves
On my street with solitary angels
Words touching your lips are
Fire flames that goes up the sky
First, passing through me
Then, from your gentle palms
To the meteorites
A pathological love
Able to shake the world
And the gravity
The desire to touch you
Makes me start a war
With the universe

Beneath This Shadow

Who am I today
Who will I be tomorrow
The sparkle of a star
The darkness of a shadow

Will I see the sun
Shining every day
No enemies, no fear
Standing in my way

No tears on my face
Regrets are left behind
Every time I say a prayer
It's for my peace of mind

What's behind this shadow
Have you seen this ghost
You will be forever
The one I loved the most
