Empty Love

Can’t you see our souls are different
Leaving us with no fulfillment
This love will never progress
Only allowing it to regress
We’ve found the comfort ground
Too soon have we settled down
Asleep our spirits wait to be awakened
It’s not here the spell will break
So each other we should not take
We must let go of what we know
To walk away on our own
Or together our souls will live alone

Raging Storm

It rumbles as the storm begins

Frustration strikes all with in

Raging wars on peaceful land

In the end there is no lending hand

For bonds are ripped and torn

The mender is completely worn

Sick from furious waves

Full of overwhelming craze

The sea itself has been iced over

As unrealistic hopes dreadfully lower

The calm is so far into the distant

Its meaning becomes nonexistent

Misinterpreted loved ones

Are mistaken as the burden

The obscure truth is masked in doubt

Heavily hanging in the air

Such animosity, not a soul should ever bear

Meaningful Rhyme

Words escape the mind
Endless search to find
A meaning to this rhyme
It’s hard to know the next line
When one is running out of time
It’s easy with all these signs
To know what should be mine
Without a meaning to this rhyme
Many might begin to cry
But fear not it is no lie
One is not bound by a tie
The meaning to this rhyme
Can be reached when not blind
Oh! But not any seeing eye
Although this could be a crime
There may be no meaning to this rhyme

Upside Down, Right Side Up

When lying upside down I see the whole world hanging on a silver cloud

Stare at it long enough it begins to become right side up

Roots grow towards greater heights with no end to their soaring flights

They reach for the stars interlocking with earths loving arms

Making a perfect way to lead us to life’s golden gate

Opening our souls pouring wisdom into our minds’ empty holes

Rekindling us once again to be one with the universe, moon, and sun

My Love

Your touch sends my senses on a sensual ride
Building tension to embrace your body to mine
Forming thoughts of your tender caress invade my mind
Your kiss brings a rush of bliss like a raging tide
As your hands work their way around me to pull me in tight
Holding on to you my love sets in certain sights
I'm not afraid to say I want only you for the rest of my life

Mother Nature

The sun beams down lighting up my face and warming my skin
Coaxing my eyes shut to leave the physical world
Letting the natural world fill my veins
The wild wind refreshes my lungs
Replenishing my whole inner being
My mind goes to a wonderful place to take a break from the ever crazy reality
My body begins to weigh down sinking into earths comforting ground
Natures lullaby soothes me to drift off into unconsciousness

The land of dreams and wonderful things, hopefully
With nature surrounding me and cloaking me in divine bliss
Only allowing the subconscious to bring to life beautiful scenes
Flowered trees, fields of green, skies painted picture perfect blue, the air smells and tastes of honeydew, birds sing along to natures tune, the rivers move to the beat of Mother Nature’s heart

A natural awakening brings back my soul from its deep sleep
Slowly uprooting my body from Mother Natures’ loving grasp
She infused me with her energy to help me through the unnatural world we live in
I can't wait for the sun to coax me again to close my eyes and appreciate her beautiful essence once more

Same Soul

Looking at your soul through the windows we’ve been given

Fills mine with all its been missin’

Years could crawl by and I wouldn’t mind

Showing what your soul is made of, so full of life

Growing with passion as it is joined with mine

Search more and you could not find

Two stars bound so close, as one they surely shine

My Mother

My eyes begin to tear as I look at this in a sort of fear
Your last year was not one of much good cheer
You fought to stay here as long as you could keep in gear
Just enough to hear we all loved and held you dear
Even though you'll be gone year after year
your love and memory we'll keep real near

Mom

Mom, you were the one
I called when I wanted to run
Away when it was too overwhelming to stay
In your presence I found comfort and acceptance
Willing to listen and help me through the distance
Now the lessons you taught me will forever glisten
In my mind, through all my life’s endeavors
Mom, our times together I will cherish forever

Flowers

Blooming Flowers, Beating heart

Touch of love, unknown touch

Seeking eyes, for unseen looks

Smiles of warmth, warming smiles

Blooming flowers, love is growing

Showing without knowing, knowing what to show

Yearning for unity, union is dreampt

Reaching out forbidden, natural outreach given

Blooming Flowers, blossom together
