I Don'T Write Poems

I don’t write poems,
I drink them like wine,
I become tipsy
with each coming line.

I don’t write poems,
I breathe them like air,
I become so happy
when each one I share.

I don’t write poems,
I live with them;
they prolong my years,
they are as true as I am.

I don’t write poems,
I weave into verses
sadness, joy, tears,
prayers, love, curses…

My poems talk and sing,
Sense of living they bring.

Smart Little Johnny

It's a real story that happened in one school
when a teacher appeared to be a complete fool.
Once when a teacher of math was sick
a teacher of physical education came, named Nick.
He wanted to show how intelligent he is
so he said: Solve my problem please!
- The car moves at a high speed.
To go to Spain a plane we need.
How old am I if the plane now is high in the sky?
- If to take all these tasks and mix
we’ll get the result: You are twenty six.
- Right you are Johnny!
Your arms are scrawny but brain is brawny.
How did you solve this problem so quick?
For me it’s easier to break a brick.
- Well, our neighbor being so sleazy is thirteen,
and my mum says that he is a semi cretin.

An Ideal Husband

An ideal husband doesn’t argue,
He never squabbles or swears,
Only about his wife he cares.

He always says kind words,
Doesn’t do anything that hurts.

Doesn’t play cards or guzzles away money,
Days and nights repeats: You are my honey!

Out of the rest he is much wiser,
He is not poor or a miser.

In all he is good and so nice,
Always gives a good advice.

An ideal husband is very strong,
And his wife is never wrong.

Even in bed he is the best,
Every day with him is a fest.

At other women he never looks,
And plus to that he nicely cooks.

He is so handsome and not boring,
And you will never hear him snoring.

His wife is blameless and so gorgeous,
She goes out and he’s not jealous.

In all his wife he loves to assist.
Does such a husband really exist?

It seems he can be found only in dreams.

There Are Many, There Are a Few

There are many of those with whom you can go to bed,
There are so a few with whom you’d like to wake up,
And in the morning to greet the day that’s ahead,
With a smile to ask your love if it’s already a sunup.

There are many of those with whom you can just live,
Drink in the morning coffee, talk and argue or debate,
But … there are just a few to whom you can believe
And in every moments of life to be always straight.

There are so a few with whom you’d like to dream,
To watch the stars in the darkness of the night,
To be with your loved one in the same stream,
And never think who was really wrong or right.

There are so a few with whom you can keep silent,
Who understands you with a semi glance or a word,
Who knows that each heard word is just brilliant
As from the mouth of your darling it was said.

You so easily meet and… without pain you part,
With ease on the heart, just because…, and it is sad that…
There are so many of those with whom you can go to bed,
There are so a few with whom you would like to wake up.

Water and Fire

Such a disaster once had happened.
Water and fire had fallen in love
Master to hug the fire was maddened,
Was so much afraid to hug his love.

Strong arms of fire enchanted, gleamed,
All around him has brightened.
Pull over to her love water dreamed
But the flames of fire frightened.

Prideful and beautiful was the fire
With each coming day his love blazed
To hug water was his greatest desire
But …to do it he was so much afraid.

The same often happens in life.
They love, but are afraid to show.
With the real feelings they strive,
Different ways they forever go.

Can’t live together water and fire.
One another they only admire.

I Am a Lady

I am a lady of a stunning age,
I can still perform on a stage.
I can still be someone’s pride,
My range of interests is wide.

Putting on a stunning dress
I’ll make every man confess:
She is a woman of super class
Who hates swagger and sass.

With sniper fidelity and my charm,
Without any noise and extra alarm
I’ll kill all men on the spot, at once.
Not giving anyone a chance.

I can become someone’s prize.
That someone will have to realize
How much I am expressive,
All in me is just impressive.

I can still be someone's Sunday,
Make an ordinary day a holiday,
Get a bottle of laugh from a store,
At breakneck speed new explore.

And due to my fascinating view
I can make anything to become true
For example, replacing old with new
But … I just don’t feel like to.
