Condiment Love Triangle

salt says hi to the sugar
Who’s in love with the pepper
Who’s the one who left the mustard
Who misses the ketchup
Whose kicks come from the hot sauce
Who truly loves the salt

I Wont Tell

I won’t tell
What you done to mommy
Please don’t yell
I won’t tell
How she fell
You can trust in me
I won’t tell
What you done to mommy

Free and Young

We were free in the cornfields
The wind would rip through our hair
As one we chased the sunsets
Which we never caught

Refused To See

There are still nights
Up alone, I think of you
How right you were
But still how very wrong
How can that be?
I battle amongst myself
Temptation to call
Just want to hear your voice
See your face
Though I know it’s wrong
I want to touch your lips
With mine
Remember the kiss I left?
How sweet and gentle
The lips of an angel
You gave it what you could
I asked for more
You had nothing left
Though you looked
So I left
Feeling you were used
What you gave me
Was what I was after
I refused to change
Refused to see

Halloween

Pumpkins carved with frightening faces
Ghost and ghouls lurk the streets
Fright hiding in dark places
Pumpkins carved with frightening faces
Treat filled pillow cases
Children joyed in tricks and treats
Pumpkins carved with frightening faces
Ghost and ghouls lurk the streets

Today I Leave

Your cheating heart
I do not need
Your cheating heart
I will not feed
Your lying words
I will not listen
Your lying words
Are not worth fixing
Your cold soul
Frozen to the bone
Your cold soul
Left alone
Goodbye forever
I will not grieve
Goodbye forever
Today I leave

Had Enough

I've had enough
Of the lies and deceit
I admit defeat
You win
I lose
My heart torn in two
All done by you
So many years wasted
So many tears tasted
All wasted on you
I've had enough
Enough of the deceit
Enough of the defeat
Enough of the heartbreak
Enough of the soul you take
I've had enough
Enough of you

A Farmers Haiku

Morning rooster calls
Daylight breaks the horizon
Time for work lets go

The Beach At Midnight

The stars so bright
On this moonlit night
The waves roll to shore
Nights like this I want more
The beach at midnight
