I stand seaside on the edge of a cliff..
Slowly shut my eyes as the rain just falls from the darkening skies..
Lean over the cliff as I whisper goodbye..
My body just floats over waves and through the wind..
While time remains frozen I'm forced to pretend that my wings aren't broken
and I can fly again..
To a brighter place that has the powers to mend my broken heart and make it
whole again..
Erase my anger that has trapped me in and dry all the tears I've been
drowning in..
Then as my fears are gone and the pain slowly fades I get a feeling of warmth
like I'll be ok..
My wings are restored to take me away..
I open my eyes and there's no more rain..
All I see is a brighter day..

Living life surrounded by people, yet everything feels so empty..
I'v never felt so alone.
I go through everyday slowly fading away..
All I want is to be able to say tommorrows a new day and I'll
finally be ok..
Tommorrow comes and nothings ok..
I'm barly holding on just painfully waiting for a brighter day..
I lay down at night silently breaking down inside,
so I mend the only way I know how..
I turn to the bottle cause it never lets me down..
I take a deep breath as the pain slowly drowns..
I'm giving up on life.
I just cant find a reason to fight..
Something keeps me going when the darkness devours all light..
The only thing left that can bring me life and
it hurts so bad that i just still cant
be alright..
All thats left is peices and it makes me feel weak..
Then just when im falling a hand pulls me up..
My whole world suddenly changed in
everyway..
Im finally starting to see everything will be ok..
You took my heart and held it tight..
Led me out of my darkness and into your light.
I couldnt find feelings to even care,
then you filled my soul with the love we share.
I dont know where i'd be at today if
you wernt here to make it all ok..
Now everymorning I wake up and smile..
Just being by your side makes life
worth while..

I keep my heart in my pocket wherever I may go, incase I need to hide it, so noone
can get close.
I'm so afraid to let you love me, afraid of what you'll do. You will promise me the world then turn your back and I will lose you.
I'd like to take my heart out. I'm just dying to let you see, but you have to accept what I need, but If you are patient and hold out your hand, I'll take it out real slow please try to understand.
Now I have it out. It hurts and I'm scared. I feel like I see noone, is anybody there, but to my surprise I see you in my veiw. It feels so good, but so much hurt still too.
If you love me with all that you see, then thats how I know you will never leave.
Now I know you love me so true, but I have to put my heart back till I can love me too.

The light starts fading to where it doesn't shine..
Not even a glow or flicker there's nothing left behind just The pain of night..
Darkness comes quickly and devours all time..
Alone in this world misled by its lies..
A once happy soul just left to cry..
In The pain of night..
So a temporary fix helps her get by..
A little escape to take her high..
Floating away till she reaches the sky in the pain
Of night..
In her own clouded world up so high..
Its the only time she doesn't have to hide..
Where truth and reality finally collide, it comes to a point where she has to decide..
Come down of this cloud or continue the ride in the pain of night..
She looks all around and then to her side, realizing while up here its just her disguise..
For that moment in time she feels alive, but soon her pain is verified by the DARK, COLD, EMPTINESS that still resides in the pain of night..
So she falls back and shuts her eyes..
Tired of this life, she continues the ride in the pain of night..

My heart once lost.. would it ever be
found?
It was torn and battered, then left
on the ground..
Repeatatly crushed untill it just
shattered..
With noone around to see its final
breaking..
I stood there surrounded by faces
just silently aching..
Too many pieces to be put back
together, my heart was crushed and
gone forever..
Then I seen a bright light from the
back of the crowd..
As it moved closer he knelt to the
ground..
And one by one started picking up
the pieces..
Untill he put it all back together..
Then while on one knee he
promised forever..

How many tears can a pillow hold?
Cry after cry there's nothing left to be told.
My mentality broken and my heart is ready to fold.
How much misery can one mind hold?
Just wondering through Darkness and into the Cold.
There's no light left not even a glow.
How much darkness can one life hold?
Reaching the end where happiness doesn't grow.
My soul now broken, to the lowest bidder it's sold.
Now just left when the final unknown.
When your savior can't save you, where do you go??
