The Man

You have gained that stature of man
Holding the sky on your palms.
Twist the world around your fingers
And diffuse the arrogant fury of the nature.

Your knowledge and intelligent probes
Shall restrain the devastation wreaked
On the helpless souls of the earth,
You like a Phoenix rise from the debris of the ‘Dissolution’.

The Nature may please to thrust at you,
Out of its ghastliness, unleashing the devils
Like Tsunami, Tornados, Earthquakes, Volcano blasts et all
A dastardly act, annihilating the lives created by itself
In a eons of time so painfully creating that it will destroy.

But you have the will to survive the deadly onslaughts
Bearing with the maladies determined not to surrender to the Devil,
Its devilry can never decimate you or wipe you out of existence
Though since a eons it is indulging in such nefarious acts
Conforming to the theory of Malthus, namely ‘Malthus Balancing Act
And you shall live for a eons more
In spite of all the natural calamities preying on you.

                                                                                                                      – Jay-en

The Soul

His legs tremble,
Standing: over the-mound of dust,
He does not see the past left behind
And strives to extinguish the brightly burning star Forgetting,
that nearby A blue island floats in tears.
And a lingering restlessness sweeps past him.
He parries the questions of the present Pricking him intermittently
Not seeing with the eyes
The glowing cinder under ashes
The tide is cheated by the foaming sea Which drowns it
And wandering in the forlorn cremation ground He is haunted by the shrieks Of his bedeviled soul
A formless shadow knocks at his dormant mind.
Nothing awakes but anguish Crushing the weary breath, He gasps and fumbles
With the rising crescendo of
the inner agony, Which pricks him
And is irredeemably absorbed in the body,
The wound remains green And on the lighted pyre not the body,
The bruised conscience burns.

The Origin

Infinite space and finite planets
Born before yesterday
And going beyond tomorrow
In the eternity of time,
Interlinked with the chemistry of
‘Creation   and Destruction;
’Life and Death,
The elusive phenomena
Beyond palpable comprehension.
	 The limitlessness of time
	 And measure lessness of space
In between the genie and the factor ‘G’
	 Is a lingering concept
	 Contriving to wreck all notions
	 That exists in this universe
Born spontaneously as interactions of elements of the COSMOS
The products as CHAOS, inhabit the ever rotating planets
Like a dream, bad enough, seeking its portent that baffles the intellect
Forget you Man, the intangible concept,

The existence that plagues your mind;
You are supreme, all concept come from you.
You create your destiny.
There is nothing more than life and death
That are for you to enjoy.

Wreckage of Time

The year has passed. away
And the Sun, marking the Time
Crept down a step further,
Throwing the anguish of the past
On the New comer.
But a bafflement subdues
The buoyancy of his mind
As he returns to the mooring Where the new ends,

Aid Boredom (dispersal In the desolate street)
The Time has kept it tied
And though his legs are trembling
He lingers and then throws himself
On the wreckage of Tomorrow.

The Nature

Cloud gathering in the sky
Blown by wind it darts so high
Layer by layer it darts so high
What a fun to air ride.

The sky is stamped deep black
The sun is held under its trap.
No light comes, the earth is dark.
We seldom find a singing lark.

It rains, it flashes and it thunders
It rolls over the sky, how? One wonders.
Some wait for the downpour to stop
Some get wet, some to safety hop.

Some like the rain, some fear it most
For many it is joy, for some it is not.
Yet it drenches the parched earth
It is elixir for all providing mirth.

Cloud now does not cover the sky
The rainy season has gone by
And winter casts it spell on all
We find nights long and days small.

                                                                                             By Jay-en

To the Unknown

I see you dazzling on the horizon
	Like a flamingo – flame
And nothing seems to change o, dear!
Not even the layer of ozone.

The cosmos echoes your loud glamour,
The darkness driven by your heaving bosom
Your eyes have pierced radio elements
Your breath gave power to nuclear fission.

You have lighted the spirit of the universe
And the path of the wandering galaxies,
We embarked on the quest of the universe
In the trail of our fantasies

		Having merged the terrestrial turmoil
		Into your amorous tremble
The earth bemoans its treasure lost
The earth finds itself in shamble.

O, dear, when I rise to you
And lock in a firm embrace,
I find, I can open my third eye
And scan the whole of space.
                                                                   Jay-en

The Womb of Past

That which passes away
Leaves in its trail
The shape of things to come to take its place.
0, Past, you have now passed But when the Time stops you come again And repeat yourself.
I lived in you in back of time
And suffered pangs of life forlorn I looked at Future on the horizon To give me a life which I adorn A wishful thought I learnt in time It never begins nor ends anywhere .We are all children of a fate - That Time usurps and forbear
It moves in circle flitting away To us it passes as the past It comes to us as future then By turning circle full & fast
We forget miseries, suffering all The past that caused us so much fear In life and death, we can't forget Though wait for you appear.
I greet you not as a welcome guest
Coming from the womb of past, to my despair, I can not laugh, nor can I weep,
I want to strike a deal with you very fair
You turn the clock back again to whom I laughed And loved the life without any care.

Regret

I do not like my face any more
When I happen to look in the mirror in morning
To groom myself to toil for living,
I find now a Debilitated, repelling face
Haggard , wrinkled, shorn of its earlier gleam.
I wonder, what happened to it in such a short time
The two bright eyes now sunken deep in their blackened sockets
And criss cross lines stamped on the widening forehead.
A sinister shadow looking back at me from the depth of the mirror
To my horror and regret, how Time wrecks the beautiful things
Adorning the spirit of the universe!
Some time ago, how right and nice was every thing,
Looking so bright and gay.
A smart, attractive and inviting feature
Before the metamorphosis happened
And thus brought about the doom of things,
Now I am leading a vegetating life
Awaiting the end of my self as is the custom of the world!

                                                                                    Jay-en

Yesterday and Tomorrow

I am not related to tomorrows,
Severed from them
I am related to my yesterdays
The suffered REPLITIES
Do not trust the future.
Passing through the endless period of grimness,
I have owned them.
Absence of miseries,
Is not the culmination of the anguish.
Painful past, More known, more intimate is acceptable
I am afraid of the future,
The unknown tomorrow.

Gesture

When my great self
Was taking birth,
Death, his month agape Was
lurking at the door..
But at my firm gesture
Weighing the strength of my arms
He quitely withdrew.
