Caleb

What can be said
about this man
One that is not easy to be read.
His words come to life
Pen to paper
With poetry to his wife
A loving father indeed
Nothing else like it
Teaching and giving all they need.
Mysterious is he
What's in his head
Is he thinking about me
He's not perfect
Mistakes have been made
Things I know he'll correct
He's my best friend
the one I married
A love that will never end
He has been mine
For quite some time
I find he is still so divine.

They Say

They say time will tell all
Revealing ones true self
A remorseful heart that won't fall
Or one that beats only for itself

They say time will heal a broken heart
Mending all the scars
Right from the moment it fell apart
And your eyes looked up to the stars

They say time is everything
playing the biggest role
Timing can change our lives forever
But ultimately I believe you are in control

Man In the Moon

Baby, come home soon
I grow tired of these conversations
with the man in the moon

I can not lie
Mesmerized by his bright beauty
I keep talking to the sky

I pour out my soul
Waiting for his sweet reply
though it were you there to console

As the night comes to fade
Without a single response
I soon realize that I was played

Really he's such a fake
Pretending to soothe and ease the pain
Of my broken heart ache

O how I long for you
the softness of your voice
whispering in my ear, its true

Baby I'll be home soon
but I get there
We'll talk to the same man in the moon

Unknown

Im drowning in a pool of tears
thinking about the last years

In a moment all things lost
was it really worth the cost

What will my future hold
only time knows what will unfold

Until then I'll sit and wait
for the day of my unkown fate

Heart

My heart is fragile
But not broken
Healed when three words are spoken
My heart is longing
With every beat
Waiting for you to do something sweet
My heart needs
Actions of love
Like that of a white dove
My heart loves
Like never before
But yearns for the same and more
My heart gives
All of itself
And requires all of yourself
My heart is everything
Pure and true
And just wants a life with you
My heart is locked
Waiting by the sea
Only you hold the precious key
My heart is saying
Love me forever
As I will love you forever
