Ferris Wheel

Boys should smell like popcorn,
freshly cut grass and the
rusting bolts of an October
ferris wheel.
Love should feel like hot funnel
cakes with powdered
sugar,Messy like candied apples
running down your chin.
Filling you up way too much
and having you taste warm
sugar.
You not wanting the delicious
smell to fade or the
scrumptious taste to
disintegrate.
Rides are thrilling, and scary
but the boy smelling like
popcorn, freshly cut grass and
rusting bolts of Ferris wheel is
holding on to you like he will
never let you fall.

Beautiful Everything

his eyes are like the fog after it rains- beautiful
not clear
unreading like a blank page
stiff face as if he were a statue
and his mouth as if he was kissed by an angel
and the angel forgot her lips

he is beautiful from the words he speaks
to the actions he acts
he has soul and a heart
the time goes by so fast when together

time slows down for no one
thats the lingering question
would he want time to stop

in the moment that we touch
or would he want time to finish itself and just rush on through
afterwards i look at the days gone by
i wonder ...
pondering the outcome of our future
if we were to go on.

Me and You

Do you remember?
I do very clearly
it was summer
hot and humid

You were old but very alive
you drunk alot but never was violent
sweet and kind
i wish you were still here

You and I
me and you
we were never apart
sort of like best friends

i came over every weekend
you would greet me and we would go and play on the swings
grateful not hatefull
always thought of my happiness

The month after i turned 5
you went away for awhile
you didn't even say good bye
i never saw you again

But i do remember all the good memories
not the bad

Tomarrow Is a New Day

the sun smiles into my bedroom
The shadows kiss the room goodbye

tomorrow the moon and sun will
fight
a new day dawns on those who need it the stars make the tears on my faceglitter in the surrounding darkness

All sound is shallowed and or shut out
no more screming, stop the shouts tomarrow will bring happiness

while the pain and sadness drifts away brother always said dont try to fight the night because tomarrow is a new day

No More Tears

his beauty lights up my dark grey sky
tear drop spots on my cheeks are dry
the sun has come out
when he smiles i kno everything is going to be ok

Too Much Is Too Much

to much is to much

in the midnight
darkness is among us
mommys screams and shouts are heard
i wish it would stop
i wish it would end
just go away i scream then no more
was heard i didnt know
i didnt know what happend

My daddys in my room now with a gun to me
then i cant remember
i am looking at myself bleeding on the floor
i am dead
my daddy then shoots himself in the head
my life and my familys life has ended
just because my daddy had to much to drink
