Against All Odds

Tell me how you can travel through a mind where every passageway is blocked by a transparent wall bubbling to explode.
In a world that fails to focus, I embark on a trip through a dark, winding tunnel with a never-ending twist beyond reality only I can find. I can't see how far the finish line is, but with each step I take, the ground rumbles as it shakes, making the journey that much more difficult to accomplish. Obstacles in a medieval gauntlet seem less challenging than a visual road filled with cracks and crevices widening as I shudder with each breath. The air so still, my skin begins to flame red, causing my body to drip with sweat, creating an odyssey only the mind can picture without a frame to border it. The feeling of invincibility rises to a peak where the continuation of endless possibilities cease to amaze those not on my level. Freeing the mind with hallucinatons so vivid, not even the Walls of Jericho can divide thoughts of domination crashing together. Thus, realizing the end of time is near.
At the top of the stairs, I stand alone looking down unto others. Reaching for the highest point, it would be too simple flicking a switch when the madness ascends, exterminating combative forces, putting to sleep a third eye.

Voyage To Ecstacy

Every time I see you
Wishing we were together
Wondering what I could do
To make it all better
Sweeping the dust under
Forgetting who did what
A love for another
Has no ifs, ands, or buts
Please come to me
And you will soon realize
It is meant to be
Once you look into my eyes

Hold out your hands
Ask me to turn the page
The future begins with a dance
Knowing my love will never age
With you in my arms
I tend to make you mine
Keep you away from harm
Sweet lady, so divine
Crying tears of happiness
Never will you have to fear
As I carry you into eternal bliss
A day that I won't be here

Eyes Wide Shut

It wasn't long ago when I heard the news
Your present relation turns to be untrue
And if you weren't binded by deception
I would be the one for your soul connection

Upon hearing this, I was taken aback
Moved by fresh knowledge I no longer lack
Astonished you are aware of my existence
Now I feel the next step would be persistence

But good things come to those who wait
In the meantime, I'll be content and perculate
Patiently waiting for the day to come
When you and I together can unite as one

If you didn't know, then now you do
The feeling is mutual, this message to you
So when you are able to break free
Seize the moment and pursue your fantasy

I can fulfill one's dreams when inspired
Along with the package comes sensuous desire
You know what you want and so do I
Only time will tell when to open your eyes

Sense of Completion

Unable to escape the pain on the rise inside
Still embracing, manipulating the mind
Patiently waiting for the day I will lose touch
Releasing pressure after its been too much

Secluded in society trying to deal and cope
Thoughts racing of desire and hope
Knowing I need this and sometimes that
What am I to do if I was to snap

Like a twig broken in two
Tears falling through old and new
Not all of the fault is my own
What evolved became exposed from below

And when it attacks with relentless force
I will stand back neglecting remorse
Sending a message, now you're asleep
Closing your eyes for eternity

Straying away wiith hands in the air
Quickly relieved of anguish and despair
Is this the answer to all my questions
Again, i'll never know my sense of completion

What's Inside

The crackle of lightning
Thrown from the sky
As it strikes the ground
With a shining array of sparks
Is what's inside

The dim light of the moon
Displays no brightness ahead
But in short time, the sun appears
Acting as a guide, pointing the way
Only after so long, it too is lost

Through fingers like sand
Time is just a blink of the eye
Nothing but a blur when the darkness falls
Across the chest, arms are folded
Then all you have is what's inside

Poor Man's Poetry

This is an introduction of my thoughts
Feelings I have endured which can't be bought
Inside you will find
Words that have escaped my mind
And if read all the way through
I must forewarn you
Please understand who I am
Before I was a boy and now a man
Some reveal a sense of horror
But continue on, there's more
Others tell tales of love
After all, I've been through enough
Everything else is just in-between
These are the words of a poor man's poetry

Aspired Desire

Reaching into the night
As if you were already there
Yearning for the comfort
And connection alleged to be rare
Nothing else matters
Now that I'm here with you
Except, this is fictitious

Waiting for dreams to come true
Instantly awakened
Should I go back to sleep
Enticed by visions
Listening as you speak
Once riveted by physical interest
Gentle as you are, yet
Enlightened by refinement
Let me know, "Have I gone too far?"

The Syndicate

So unaware of what's to come
Mind naked and bare
Vulnerable to traffic
Not knowing who's out there
Tell me why you should interfere
Is life so blind
You think I can't see
With what goes on behind

What lies beneath yearns to escape
Gritting its teeth hungry for desire
Eyes casting faint images of light
Ready to exhale a breath of fire
It doesn't matter what you say or do
I travel far and above
Preparing to descend pain and anger
Without any room to make for love

Illuminating the night sky
Pervasively cascading with sparks
Don't hesitate to whisper goodbye
Before the smoke clears
As I witness your demise
Now it's too late
For you to beg and plead
For we are all just bait
In God's hands you trust
I am the syndicate

What I'M Looking For

We've been talking for quite some time
You have your problems and I have mine
But when it comes right down to it
Baby, you need to make up your mind

If you truly see in what I believe
Then you'll love me for me
Now give me a reason to believe
You're not what you seem to be

So, please, tell me why should I
Continue to stand by your side
When all you speak are lies
Baby, look me in the eye
Let me know what's on your mind

I need to know the truth
You leave me so confused
And because of you
I don't know what to do

Between friends and lovers, there is a difference
Possible intentions towards me are of no interest
What I'm looking for is one who's true
She who can keep it real, someone to talk to

Now would be the time to let me know
If it's my own way I should go
And if so, I'm gonna say thanks on my behalf
Because you can never lose what'cha never had

Panther

Always on the prowl
Searching for something new
A hunger that burns inside
Ready to flame at any moment
Sometimes it takes days
Even nights just wandering around
Keeping an open eye
On the vast world ahead

Finally, you see what you want
And you give chase
Once you have it in your grasp
You never want to let go
But sometimes, life isn't always fair
And it slips away

No matter how much it hurts
Or should I say, how hungry you are
You're left with no choice
But to keep pursuing
And to keep in mind
Someday, your match will be met
