The Perfect Guy

I hate myself, you love everything about me,
you say im beautiful
and keep loving me,
i hate my skin and my face, but you admire it like your special place,
i dont think guys like me, never giving me a chance,
but you came into my life making my heart dance,
i know forever that this love is true
so i just wanted to say these two little words "Thank You"

The Eyes of a Prostitute

Looking at the streets so empty and bare
just reminded me of the pain and despair

I see a young girl at the corner while she wait
For a car to pull up but thats not her date

Then she stepped into that car all nicely dressed
But will come back tomorrow even more depressed

She does it every friday and all the next day
As a high school drop out theres a price to pay

Selling herself is the only thing left to do
It just breaks my heart if only she knew

If she could look into my past and see what ive been thru
Then she'd be free at last and make her dreams come true

Mother

Oh my dearest mother
how i really love you so
You promised to always love me
and to never let me go

You were always there for us
my brother sister and I
You practically raised us on your own
and it makes me want to cry

Trying to find a job
very hard as it may be
Food clothing and shelter
is what you gave to me

You are my inspiration
I know this thought is true
I am glad to have been born
by a mother just like you

You have a special husband
that helps you along the way
We really truely love you
So Happy Mother's Day

Heaven

If you’ve been there you would see
That it’s a place for you and me
It’s white and pure and full of love
And will remain forever above
Jesus has told me once again
To pray every night and end with Amen
Some don’t believe it read it or understand it
But when they die they’ll pray to have it
Sing, live, joy to bring
Adam and Eve mean everything
Husbands, daughters, mothers, brothers
All in all we love each other
Some we’ve lost and others remain
But one day we’ll see each other again
And on that day ill close my eyes
To see the darkness and start to cry
A breeze will come with a slight ease
And heaven will bring me to my knees
I’ll look up in the sky and see the light
And soar to God like a meteorite
I’ll shake his hand and gently say “Hi”
And for the Mother Nature ill say “Goodbye”
