Lips Touch

When we wake at dawn
Languidly and Longingly

When we part for a time
Avidly and Ardently

When we make love
Passionately and Powerfully

When we fight and Make-up
Vehemently and Vigorously

When we lay in the dark
Sedately and Serenely

We move through the day
To come alive
When our lips touch

Exhilarate Me

Press me from behind

My back to your chest

Your flesh between my thighs

Exhilarate me

Watch my blush rise

From my breast

Up my long neck

My face glows

The solidness of you

Fills up the substance of me

Something More

Striving to be content.
Everyday….striving.
Ignore the yearning
The knowing - there is something more
There was supposed to be something more
Just beyond reach
If you can only remember you can have it
Desperate
Angry
Has time run out?
Is it too late?

That mistake
That defining mistake
You knew it before it was made
How can you be whole now?
Unmake it.
If you have the courage
Yes!
(In truth – no)

Most days you can simulate
Well-being
Ease
Substance
You wear expressions
Suggestions really
And sometimes….
It shows –
When you believe
You were not meant for more

The Pedestal

How must it feel

I wonder...

With just a look to have instant

Appeal

Influence

Hunger

Poised on a Pedestal

With eyes lifted Above

Indifferent

To the longing Below
