Salvation

Gathering within thy lightest touch
An ache so strong it bears no name.
Want, desire, need.. And lust
Burn inside, an eternal flame.
Candles melt in waxen splendor
While shadows dance in flicker’s delight
Moonlight waivers in consistent motion
And the night doth sing in melodious harmony

She stares beyond what can be seen.

Eyes of blank, yet secrets untold
Are whispered upon the lips of souls
Who wander the earth in solitary essence
And gather together at the turn of the tide..

She waits..

She waits for him..

Fallen stars light the heaven’s sky,
Brief moments in time of effervescence glee
History repeats, and yet bares no future,
The minutes pass, and hours stand still.
Her darken strands of hair caress
The gentle curve of her slender form,
Licking sensuously at her pale, light skin
Embracing her within it’s warmth..

The bells chime and she stands alone..

Lips so full, speak of secrets untold..
Whispered to the souls who’s lips are sealed..
Wandering the earth in solitary essence
To gather at the turn of the tide..

She waits..

She waits for him to return..
to be the salvation of her soul

Last Embrace

Empty vessels carry forth
The Maiden of the night who pleas
With tears of silver that trickle light
O’er cheeks that shine without reprieve

Feathered hair that billows strong
Within a winters wind,
Captures the moment, a mermaid’s song
Of one that longed for something complete
Frost-like lips that part with ease
Blow forth a lightened air
Wisps of fog spread as wings
Caressing in their beauty
Calling out with woeful cries
As echoes wither naught
Shuddering while her heart doth break
Yet again from pain and hurt

Death comes willing to those that beg
With faceless shapes that dance
Puppets upon their gilded strings
Leading innocence along the path
Shimmering wishes and dreams that died
With one moment in time now gone

The empty vessel carries forth
Searching aimlessly for one
A soul that captures
That begs to hear
That prays just once to be felt
A maiden of night, a shadow now
Breaks free on dawn’s first light
Sacrificial lamb of god
An angel upon the stars
Touch her, feel her, see her there
Allow her but once to live..

Dust on the wind
The clouds draw nigh..
The Maiden’s song complete
Blood trickles sour, blades fall with grace
Lamenting in this loss
A female now seen,
Though always not
Had at last, perhaps been sought..
In sorrow did her moment rise,
The instant the blade struck harsh,
As her heart did stop,
Her body did fall
In life she had been a simple non,
But with death, she had become…

Loss

There is a whisper of malcontent
that beckons in the air
With mystery, shivers and hopless woe
of broken hearts and tears.

Miniscule and empty
the glass part full does weep
while stains of crystal echo in whole
with the sadness of the World
we carry on our shoulders.

Soul twisted and delayed dreams
Shattered in a whisper's prayer
A truth so barren,
A heart so dull
Misconstrued and sorrid
Wept upon the petals of a rose.

Oft is the cry of solitude
of Pain that crumbles a life
of saying goodbye as dust turns to air
of standing o'er a grave
Of farwells that never end
and memories that linger true.
of saying three words
that die upon the breath of air..
As Winter's grasp takes hold
A single solider
who walks alone
and
who's war has just begun..
