A Lonely Star Shone One Night

A lonely star shone one night;
By a grave, he stood all alone in white.
The muffled sounds of a laughter gone so soon blew near
With whistles of a heart’s solemnest thoughts,
And, thus, he discovered that
He was not alone:
A lonely star shone one night!

My Dream Land

A world to me so dear,
A place to my heart so near;

Love and joy flows all around,
Happy children you’ll find here;
Sweets and candies abound.

‘Tis where I fly with the clouds,
With them I make funny sounds.
Look dear, all the side soaring hills surround.

Small and big streams pass here;
They disturb not my ever tranquil world,
But flows as harbinger of peace and love, O dear!

Birds, too, sing melodious numbers,
Their song awakes the winds and the leaves from their slumbers.
And oh, how funny it is to see their faces lazy looking like tumblers!

Welcome here, welcome all
A place to my heart so near.

Maid of Orleans

There stood Joan, “The Maid of Orleans”-
Brave, full of wit, modesty and simplicity!
Being tried by the rascals of the Church of England for heresy
And lay in their hands her night or day;
Oh, the young warrior toiling for dear life!
So young, yet deeds of height for the Kingdom of France, for her motherland;
The voices of the angels moved her to the field where she killed,
Took up the sacred sword and swore by God, for God, for France;
Oh, young lass, now betrayed by the King!
And here on that fateful day,
Sacrificed in the flames and
Done to death a martyr,
A young warrior, a daughter, a lovely soul—Joan of Arc!

Too Small

A world too small
Where hopes fly high
In the clouds a teardrop hides
Oh come rain, come rain
Shower me your pain
It's teardrops that are falling.

Starry Night

The night is starry,
Let's make merry.

Forget the pain,
And make the gain.

Don't be in haste,
Or you'll miss the taste.

Cherish the moment,
Don't be a torment.

Face life with gusto!

Inspired

When the way forward is clear,
When my thoughts are clear,
And my mind is ready!

When the purpose is clear,
And I have no fear!

When the dormant forces inside me has awakened,
And I feel the power!

When my purpose enthralls me,
And I have many to conquer!

When I see the open door,
And I stand up again!

When I begin to know the balance and harmony of everything,
And I’m confident!

I know that the real me has come to the surface,
I know that I’m inspired,
I know that the way is divine!

Hope-Less

The light is dim,
Through the twilight, I can see the calm of night-
So dark and deep it is;
Where am I heading, I know not.
The leaves have been sucked of everything,
And fallen are they on the ground- dead and beaten,
The trees too have dried- dead and down are they.
Love- I will not anymore and Cry- I shall not again,
For all the roots of hope and love have been uprooted,
And here I’m in the depth of night-
Alone and empty…
