Amber Cyr Poem
An angel sitting at her window,
staring at the world below,
waiting for him to take her to
wherever she wants to go.
She knows that if she leaves
then she will never, ever come back,
but being in his presence
there'll be nothing that she'll lack.
A speck far off in the distance
lets her know he's drawing near.
Shutting the final latch on her bag,
she feels anything but fear.
She quietly slips out her window,
saying a silent goodbye,
knowing that she'll be happy
and never, ever cry.
With him and only him
she knows she's meant to be,
held safely in his arms
for forever and an eternity

Amber Cyr Poem
Anticipation runs like a river through my veins
Your lips, your touch...over my body they reign
Your kiss, your smell...intoxicate me
Wrapped in your arms is where I should be
Then my hand grasps at an empty sheet
For only in my dreams is where we meet
And I awake into the unwelcoming dark
Wanting you always leaves an unwanted mark
my aching heart might as well have stopped beating
because the happiness I fell is always fleeting
Wishing for what could be or might have been
But knowing I'll always be alone in the end

Amber Cyr Poem
You'll find me on the wings of the clouds in the sky
kissing away all those tears when you cry
Lifting you up on the best of your days
Hearing all of the soft word you say
Cradling you when you are down and broken
The whispers on the wind are the words I have spoken
They being I love you and I'm truly not gone
Because when you think about it forever's not that long
