Sides

Today under a rainy day, needed words of encouragement.
I wanted to feel the cold air against my warm skin.
Nothing about my day seemed to connect.
It's been a while.

Too many things mean a lot to me.
The raising sun.
The clear full moon on a cold midnight.
Can't coupe. Can't really become One.

Nothing resembles the times I used to know.
I have lost the other side of me.
Don't know how bad this is.
Would not like to find out either.

Memories, that's all there is to it.
Like a huge flashback.
Stronger than my cranium, covering my shivery body.
But yet here I am.

Walking on yesterday's strong emotions. I go on.

Day after day.
Just like yesterday.

I saw you standing by the door.
Gazing at the outside world through the thick, clear, and strong glass door.
There you were, like being protected against the current.

Mean while, me and the against the flow battle, to move either backwards or forward.

The constant struggle does not seem to ease.
The chances of becoming One, with the other I would like to find goes on.

I saw you standing by the door, and so it continues.
Here we are against all possibilities.

Standing strong and steady for one another.
Side by side.

From a distance.
We stand between your strong glass door and my strong feelings.
That's what marks the end of a day and the beginning of yet another...
start.

Life

And then she left.
She closed the door to never come back.
The time well spent, it is sealed and forever forgotten
behind the walls of an empty room.

The windows that remain closed,
now keep the air from flowing.
Chocking the endless memories once shared.

She is gone leaving behind a time capsule that shall remain shut.
She took a different path.
Now all there is left it is a trail of
broken opportunities.

She discovered a new direction when you held a sharp stare.
She walked away, giving you back your freedom.

Without a chance, without no more to say,
she gave you up...
As you wished.

Without trying she gave up everything.
Closing the door behind her.

Now you live and go on...
feeling it is because of her,
you get to breathe another day.

You are free.
Everyday you live but,
it feels like it was her last breath of happiness you took as she died.

She did what she could to make you happy.
At your every request, she was. Lived.

But for you.
With one thing only, to get your life back.

Impact

Would not try and hurt.
Nor disappoint.
Although, may not know that well...
The glimpse of those eyes that are missed so
within every blink.

Would not try and steal time, nor their innocence.
But, try and keep peace. Open mind to the Unknown future.

Days have come and gone, and by being in between lines
does not seem to help.
Everything moves at the same pace but One.

If there is such thing as today or tonight...
This afternoon finally there was.

Tonight, after today, I see a different angle of
my sometimes troubled sight.
It's been you every since.

I don't mean to brag.
My life has repeated it self a few times that,
yesterday feels like the day before.

The only certain time, it is the very moment,
I get to see you in the eyes.
Staring back.

Only You

Don't close to the ahead of you.
Don't frighten before the day begins.
Don't lie to yourself before you even as the question.
Don't you see her everywhere?

Don't deny it when her name comes out of your lips in a gentle whisper.
Face it. Look at the mirror.
Your eyes will tell you what to do.

Don't doubt yourself.
Though it is you, the only one.
You can make this happen.

Don't hide what you feel for her.
Don't try and shake off the feeling after a hug.
The kiss after a long day of waiting for her.

It is all true. Don't hesitate.
Go on as if she was waiting for you.

Though she is. You might not realize it...
the hand you gently hold belongs to her.

Come on the only answer you will ever find is
she is the one in the entire world for you.

Don't stop now, breath her perfume as your lips seal
another sunset as the true color of the sky starts to show.

Elapse

This is for all time has taken to the past.
This is for the thoughts, the dreams that made this path as long as it is.

For you and me. This is our time. Our day.
Believe it or not, if silence could scream as loud as the voices in my head,
time and silence would be as great as life it self.

But it is not.
This moment it is as undefined as life is.
It all seems not real.
Something changed while in the process.

Tonight we are going back.
As undefined as everything is... we are falling back.
Believe me or no tonight, it is all about survival.
It is about you and me.

Why? I don't know. All I know is we are,
where we should be.
What we need to be,
A grain of sand.
We are taking place, in the shadows of the past.
