Soap Bubble Dreams

As tiny globes they float,
Wearing a rainbow coat,
Filled with young breath they glow,
The soap bubble dreams we blow.

Pop! They burst with stranger’s touch,
In the windless sky, away from our clutch.

...Life is rife with lies we tweak,
A hideout from our miseries!
Flightless wings and wailing dreams,
Are a kick back to reality!

War Cry

I can't fight your war,
but can be your sword,
hold on to me tight.

Scarred Respite

(The Poem is about young love which ends after a one night stand. The villain Rain seduces and makes love to the Protagonist, Young Earth, and leaves her with a cold stare without even a word of Love)
It rained that night, the summer respite. "Dry days are over," my heart mused, forever blind. Dew drop kisses, caressed the tresses, wet wave seeped, hardening almond bunches. During the darkest hour, was the non-stop shower. Winds with power, left the deepest scar. Bright Sabbath followed in vain, couldn't conceal my pain, when I saw through the rainbow, the smirk of the grey cold sky.

Down the Waterfall

It burns in me, your broken thoughts. Reminder of a wound, healed, yet, not forgotten. Ain't it too late? For I can hear the bamboos, that'll ferry me across, the meridian being felled. "Girl!" I say, "Weed off, your unhealthy doubts." Ah! The planned waterfall, is a free fall of thrills. There ain't a life jacket, But 'am set to take the plunge, Holding onto my ABCs*. You stick to the blueprint, please.
*ABC = Accelerator, Brake, Clutch (meaning controls/basics)

Eternal String

The lonely string-less kite, has no ambitions like a chartered flight, yet she soars, aimless but high. Fighting snarling trees, And dark electric lines, It s a peek-a-boo with death, Banking on wind's soft breath. Cut off from a mere mortal’s hand, Her vagabond life is short, But the flaps of freedom is dearer, Than the string of eternity.

Lonely Ride

Zooming on a two-wheeler,
Wind caressing my locks;
Up i fly and down i fall,
Life is a bumpy long haul.

Superlative

I'm a bunch of superlatives, like many of my contemporaries. We love, hate, laugh and cry, to the greatest degree, like a superlative.

Devil Struck

Ping, pong, red and green, It is the music of the century, Making buddies on the network cloud, Oh! the fruity Apple and Blackberry. Guided by angels from the ground, A little devil dropped on my cloud! The tiny Chrome window let in, Cool Breeze from a far off land. A dashing six-hour drive, On the orange high-way, Little Devil and Angel set off, Searching for a promising bend. ...The Heavenly road to destiny, Lit with young bright dreams.
