Love As Well As In Love

When you love someone, as I love you
You care for them deeply 
You want the best for them.
When you’re in love with someone, as I am with you
You cannot imagine your life without them
They make you whole.
I am in love with you,
As I hope that you can truly see.
But I love you as well, so I want the best for you.
And if there is ever a moment
Where I think that you being with her
Is truly best for you.
I will give up. 
As though it will tear me apart inside
It will make me happy beyond belief as well.

Pictures

The things you’ve done, 
I can forgive, 
But I will never forget. 
I know our love, 
Is very strong, 
But all things, 
Have a weak spot. 
Those pictures hurt me, 
Beyond belief, 
And I wish you would
Throw them out. 
Of you and her, 
Smiley and happy, 
They make me want to cry. 
I don’t want to seem, 
Like a burden, 
Or a controlling girlfriend, 
But the signs, 
Are so obvious,
That I want them gone.

Oh how you twist our words,
And have people perceive them different.
You get facts wrong, and seem as they are right.
You don’t fix them why should you?
You’re the press.
Papers, magazines, articles and more.
You change things to make them, 
More interesting, exciting or innocent.
What about that one star?
She’s not bald, there is a picture
Right there and she has hair!
A sexual harassment case?
You make it sound like a drug bust.
What about Pluto? Its still a planet I promise.
Twisting and jumbling is your game.
A game that I wish to not play.

Little birds I hear you sing
High above the ground
You tweet and chirp then fly away
High above the ground
You fly so high, into the sky
Never knowing where to land
And when you do you tweet and chirp
Still high above the ground
With twigs and leaves you make your home
High above the ground
You lay your eggs, in your nest
So high above the ground
You spend your life, up in the sky
So high from the ground
But if you never do come down
Right to the ground
You will never see the wonders
So come down to the ground
And see what you’ve been missing

You always seem to be working. 
Or youre always with someone else.
I know youre busy, 
And I know you love me. 
But sometimes it feels, 
That it only goes one way. 
I feel like I put in all the effort,
When it comes to talking and seeing eachother. 
Sometimes I wish you would quit your job, 
And make me more of a priority. 
But I would never tell you that, 
Because I dont want to seem rude. 
I need you now, 
And you dont seem to care, 
Because you have other plans. 
And I cry at night, just knowing, 
That Im not your number 1 priority anymore. 
I need to be more than an option. 
Or something to do when you get bored.
You say thats not what I am, 
But thats certainly how I feel. 
I love you so much, 
And you say the same to me,
But actions speak louder than words. 
Even little things would do, 
Like flowers or an unexpected message. 
I like things like that, 
And I hint constantly, 
But nothing ever comes from them. 
Im tired of feeling so lonely, 
When Im supposed to have you to count on.
I need you more than anything, 
And I feel like you couldnt care less. 
I love you, you need to know that. 
And I know that you love me. 
But you need to be around more often, 
For me not to loose faith in us.

Im Not Okay

I really hate to say this,
But I lie to you almost every day.
I say I’m always honest with you, 
But that sadly is a lie as well.
I tell you that I’m happy,
Or that I’m fine and or okay.
You never seem to see the truth, 
But that is my own fault.
I really wish that you could see,
That I’m never really happy,
Cuz truth is I don’t want to tell you, 
I want you to realize it on your own.
I know that I should tell you, 
But telling you is so hard.
Because you always become upset,
And ask me what is wrong.
I don’t want to explain myself,
I don’t want to hear “I’m Sorry”
I want you to make it okay. 
Because you’re the only person that can.

Chocolate Cake

Oh how you tempt me,
You look so delicious.
I want today, 
I want you now.
But I know that I can’t have you.
You sit there in all your glory.
All your delicious yummy glory.
If I could just have one taste. 
But I mustn’t.
After dinner I can have you. 
A piece at least, right?
Oh chocolate cake, how I want you so.
But I can’t. Not now at least.
