Mujeeb Jaihoon Poem
Beloved, the Inevitable
Sky without the moon
Ring without the stone
Song without the melody
Garden without the rose
Shell without the pearl
Shelf without the books
Bottle without the perfume
Israel without Moses
Deserts without the sands
Monsoon with the rain
Body without the Heart
Leila without Majnun
Ah! I could imagine any such naught-
But world without Muhammad not!
This world is as good as naught
Had not his Light been naught
He is ultimate brick in the Tower of Life
He is the Gem in the Ocean of Existence
His is the light of my culture and nurture
His is the pen wherefrom comes my every letter
Love and its description is he
Life and its meaning is he
Flower and scent is he
Moon and its light is he
Science and its proof is he
Faith and its creed is he
Prayer and its answer is he
Power and its justice is he
Heart and its love is he
Eye and its vision is he
I and my good is he
I may be naught, not he!
In hell and heaven I’d disbelieved
Were it not told by His Beloved
Mistake not these lines as mine
The Tablet had it long ago written
I am only being just to myself
As I sing his song to others
(dedicated to the Holy Prophet Muhammad)

Mujeeb Jaihoon Poem
I felt at unease
My love, at tease
I embraced her close
Yet feared I her loss
She saw my sweat and fear
And my eyes look elsewhere
“What has put your heart on fire
Has my lover turned to a liar?
What secret have you got to hide
If love other, then with me confide”
Replied I
“For past few weeks
Have I been in pains
My heart trembles
In fear, humbles
When I see you approach
I see Her too encroach
I wish to love you at all times
But She shatters all my hopes
Both of you are as real
I cannot deny you either
Ah! Death is her name
Separation is her game
She comes uninvited
To have lovers frightened
Nightmare of life is she,
Pirate of Lovers’ sea is she
Ridicule of love, her hobby
She cares not for any lobby
Ah! Death is her name
Separation is her game

Mujeeb Jaihoon Poem
With neither head nor tail
Sans any begin or end
Disliked as barren desert land
Despised as a misborn child
Tasteless wine
Scentless perfume
Ignorance in disguise
Wisdom in distress
Fortune of fools
Scorn of sages
Save me, O Most Wise
From these malicious Clips

Mujeeb Jaihoon Poem
In the business of life I forgot
With the success of life I lost
Realized I not your affection
Inflicted upon you the solitary affliction
You kept open your eyes in longing
For my single glimpse you kept staring
Yet, I threw upon you thorns of pain
And you gifted me with roses of love
O the tireless lover!
Of this crazy wanderer!
With patience is your lamp lit
With my tsunami is your shore hit
Even as I dived into the ocean of Time
Your love alone turned to be the worthy pearl
Your love, showed me the paradise on earth
Your love, changed this demon to an angel
O the one maddened in my love!
O the one saddened in my love!
I swear to love you till death, but-
Pray for me even as I rest below the earth

Mujeeb Jaihoon Poem
by Jaihoon
Nightingale’s song today is
melodious like never before
Rose’s cheeks today blushes
like never before
Sun’s rays today shines like
never before
Wind’s dance today is graceful
like never before
Heart’s joy today hyper like
never before
Mind’s moves brighter today
like never before
Sleep taken flight today like
never before
Eyes exuberant today like never
before
Darkness died,
Lantern lit
Oppression over
Benevolence begun
Women won rights
Kids given care
Poor got their dues
Beasts granted compassion
Learning encouraged
Culture flourished
Science developed
Technology evolved
Mustafa was born when
All but God changed like never
before
(Peace be upon him)

Mujeeb Jaihoon Poem
RamaRajya, Mahatma Gandhi’s non-violent utopia of mutual tolerance, has no place for bigots who lynch and leech the Weak.
Lynch my body
Pinch my soul
Punch my pride
Drench my blood
Staunch be your henchmen
Bunch of bigoted hooligans
Flinch us they from progress
Wrench us they from justice
Exhaust every trick in your bag
Pull every arrow off your quiver
Bribe your cheerleaders forever
Swing your dagger far and deeper
Behold! Destiny’s Wheel will one day turn
In your own inferno shall you burn
Hate will then find no buyers
Fade shall every Fake Soothsayers
Rama’s Rajya will then re-assign
Love and equality will re-reign
Unity and Diversity will re-align
Tolerance will do India define

Mujeeb Jaihoon Poem
‘We stand by the dead
We support the displaced
We succor the disabled
We serve the deprived’
But who will tame the Rogue Ztate?
Who will knock with the Mosaic Punch?
Who will arrest the savage Thug?
Who will pull their below rug?
While the civilized world
Boils in this soup
Who will stir the pot
To injustice stop?
