Lullaby

Let the world turn out right
As I say 'good night'
Let news tomorrow be great
And clear all slates
Forgive and forget
Never regret

If Love Is a Rollercoaster

Make me crazy... Drive me insane.
If love is a roller coaster, then life's just a game.

Love me, Hate me, Let me go.
You can do whatever, just don't say "no".

Playing with emotions, Messing with my head.
Laughing one minute, Then mad at what I said.

Can't continue teasing, It'll wear off before long.
If love is a roller coaster, then life's the saddest song.

Say the sweetest thing, then smile, It always makes me blush.
Can't decide what this is.. Probably just a crush.

Kick it and relax; Hang out and just chill.
Got me all confused, By the way you make me feel.

Kill me with that kindness, Then take the joy away.
Wondering if we'll ever share, A normal, perfect day.

Feels like it's my fault, That you've yet to become mine.
If love is a roller coaster, then life's a waste of time.

Sunshine Through Sadness

Crying Tears Falling, Staining my Face. Eyes: Swollen and Red. My World Turning Upside Down. Rays of Sunshine Flow, Warming my Heart. Softly Smiling. Laughter.

Nightmares

I wake up screaming, sometimes crying.
I simply can't tell which side is lying.
Is it me, or is it my brain?
I can't deal with much more because it drives me insane.
I see visions of horrible, gruesome things.
Like people who've been chopped to bits, and little dead kids that sing.
I can hear the music playing and it scares me to death.
I try to run away, but I get sicker with every breath.
I see people I love and others that I've never seen before.
If I ever see those strangers when I'm awake, I'll freak out, I'm sure.
Why do I have these nightmares each and every time I sleep?
Have I not cried enough tears for people I'll never meet?
I'll never understand it, but I guess I'll have to deal.
It only gets to me this bad because it all seems so real.

Trey

You are my one and only.
My heart and soul.
My night and day.
You're my sun, my moon and the stars I wish on every night.
You're my best friend, my fiancee, my lover, my life.
You're the best thing that's ever been given to me.
Straight from the gods themselves,
You're my angel, my savior, my world.
You're my soulmate.
My one, true love, and the only person I want.
You are the reason I was put on this Earth, and the only reason I continue to live and breathe.
I love you.

Life, Without You

I sit alone, silenced in a corner.
Tears stain my face, burning as they fall.
I wish we could go back and start over.
I know, now, how to avoid this situation.
I know exactly what to change.
Things would be different, and you would be home.
Here, with the people who love and care about you.
You should be here, instead of where you are.
We miss you and you need to be where you belong.
I wish I could say this to you,
But we both know that's impossible.
Because we have to stay focused in order to be strong for you.
These tears I cry each night for you do NOT help, or heal.
They only make me miss you even more.
I wipe away the tears and take a deep breath.
I kneel down and pray for God to help you and to heal the wounds.
He doesn't answer, but He listens.
I have faith that He will pull us through this nightmare.
As I say 'Amen', I start to think of you again.
And I begin to miss you more.
I sit here alone, silently sobbing in a corner.
But these tears I can't stop crying will not heal, or help.
And they'll never free you, for you to come home.

New Day

Sunshine
	Brought in by rainbows
	Ushered through the clouds
Skies Clear
	Brighten from grey
	To various shades of blue
Light Rushes
	Into the windows
	And beyond the blinds
Early Morning
	Eyes open slowly
	Squinting, then open wide
A Smile
	Creeps across your face
	As you turn towards me
A Kiss
	A cuddle wakes me
	From a lingering dream
Together
	We get up to begin
	A new day
A Day Full Of
	Hopes, dreams,
	And love.
You Are My Muse,
	My inspiration,
	My All.

Out of the Shadows

Cowardess
                 Closed Eyes
          Hidding Behind Masks
         Fears Enclose the Mind
Make You Believe Almost Anything
         Face Your Darkest Fears
               Open Your Eyes
           Staying Headstrong
                     Bravery

Lucid

Swirling,
	Twirling,
		Spinning,
Think you're close to Winning.

Fumbling,
	Tumbling,
		Falling,
Too close to be Calling.

Skipping,
	Tripping,
		Switching,
There's just too much that's Missing.

Shaking,
	Quaking,
		Breaking,
Too hard to be Faking.

Cursing,
	Screaming,
		Hitting,
Too soon to be Quitting.

Telling,
	Failing,
		Bailing,
It's time for the Un-veiling.

Singing,
	Ringing,
		Ding-ing,
Wake Up! -- You're only Dreaming.

You'Re More

You're more to me than the stars in the sky.
I'd give up the sight of them in order to keep you forever.
You're more than the lyrics that make my favorite song.
I'd give back the words in order to hear your voice.
You're more to me than all the music in the world.
I'll never dance to the beat of any drum but yours.
You're more than any sunset I've ever seen.
I'd give up all the days if I couldn't hold you through the night.
You're more than all the hugs I've ever recieved.
I'd give them all back just to hold your hand.
You're more to me than any life upon this Earth.
I'd gibve my own to keep you safe from any harm.
You're more to me than anything else I've ever known, my entire life.
This is why you have my heart to hold, and keep until the end of time.
