You Have No Clue?

despondency echoes in your eyes
like dripping plight resonating across a baron wasteland
bound by your own hand
held captive by words on your own lips
but it is the very words unspoken
haunting your thoughts
obscuring reality blackened by self mortification
i found you as the moon
waxing and waning your personality
periodically receding as if your spirit was on low volume
the oscillating on high frequency once again
a never ending cycle of pleasure then pain
and like a sapling beaten by a summer thunder storm
i still stand in the morning ready to receive the suns healing rays
and again await the arrival of the next overcast
how can passions fire still aglow
with icy storms of pessimistic turmoil
but it lives, for it is loved by a living heart
you can choose who you choose to be
whether you do or whether you don't
will depend on your priorities
think, all the days you could have said something
all the times that you were needed you were busy
in some way you could have done something
a thought, a word, a simple smile but you were selfish
take a look at who you are, so open wounds will bleed
when i'm melting in your eyes
one look and i fall, will i be the last to fall
and dance the night away
a walking example of intoxicating beauty
hence forth safely for nothing visible in light
and walk with eyes wide shut
sleep with open eyes
close the door and turn your back
or reality overcomes you, your living a lie
am i confined by my senses to really know who you are
for i have felt you with my spirit
and i know the love you hold
so why the invitation
if you weren't gonna be the catch me
when i fell in love with you
and i might be an apple at the very top
too much work for you to reach
are you afraid to fall
and i don't mean to be a nuisance
i just think we can do better than this
that is only my two cents
you can take it or leave it

Don'T Give Me Pleasure Then Give Me Pain

i dreamt a thousand dreams
that echoed in your face
free to fly on butterfly wings
disappear without a trace

to still my heart with your voice
rhythmic as the rain
touch my skin caress my lips
embracing thought elusive gain

a sting of pain pricked by pleasure
nurse my fears and dry my eyes
embody my nightmare overcome my dreams
a love thought to be true

left to bleed a broken heart
no remorse for what you did
I, fragile as a falling leaf
benevolence and innocence forgiving what was done

true you gave me the greatest pleasure
but, doth now hold my hear with care
for you control its state
the greatest joy can also give the greatest pain

Originality

to define the soul
is beyond comprehension
determining the dimension
on a level you can't understand
why do we surround
ourselves with animosity
we contempt the equilibrium
in attempt to be individuals
the equivocation
of our nature
abstracts the communication
overrides the originality

Return To Me

autumn afternoons glow with colorful nuances
i delight in shades of crimson
but not as much as azure
no not as much as the color of your kind, confident eyes
if only i could swim in the crisp cool blue of your eyes
and watch the shades of azure
deepen as i get closer to your heart
but eyes are only a window to the soul
not the doorway

when daylights exhausted its wealth of amber hues
and eve brings upon us shadow
i take comfort in the five pillows that surround me
yet i am not as comforted in cotton and down
as i am in a handful of your honey tares
fine as strands of spun sugar
and by the time I'll recognize this moment
the moment will be gone

for true loves sweet endeavor
to wait to find this will last forever
but as seasons change autumn to winter
so does passions sweet affairs
a brief exchange then a wave good bye
if i never stop could i find
you just might wave hello again
to belive my life is gonna see
the love i give return to me

Space Between Moments

The space between moments
My escape from reality
Fredom to breath
To be truly who I am
Close enought to touch
To far out of reach to have
Moments between the moments
Two to five is all we have
Laughing when i feel estatic
Weeping when my essence shatterd
Enveloped in truth but not reality
Coming swiftly then leaving me as a dream
Meet me on the moon
12:00 AM sharp
I'll see you in my dreams
And be with you in spirit
Wanting all but taking nothing
Seeing clearly with vision blurred
Like licking frosting of a cake
An ephemeral gilmps of a could be love
At the risk of wearing out my welcome
At the risk of self descovery
I'll take every moment and every minnute that you give me

Haunted

tempt me not
the hand of fate
nor post "sadness" in a book
with what could have been above
to know the truth
but at what cost
tainted love bright then lost
maybe several misunderstandings
not meant to do me harm
never realizing the damage that was done
with your own power and loves endeavor
jaded shattered essence
caused by a love thought to be true
now awaiting another soul
to give me, for I need it sorely
that courage wise and sweet
to make the path I lead
clear beneath my feet
to lend me peace
in a time of never ending pain
understanding with no loss
there is no gain

Stephanie

I met you on a crowded bus
you shared with me your seat
i was new to the school
so you befriended me
i never saw i smile
like the one you gave to me
filled with kindness and generosity

that year we shared a million things
and filled our time with laughs
drowning out the pain
we both knew to well
no longer were we two people
we became as one
we joked if one got married
he'd have to marry both of us

the year flew by to quickly
fall had just arrived
and my moments with you grew sparse
just like warm sunny days
my last days with you before you left
were my hardest to survive
and when we said good bye
I knew i would not see you for a long time

i also knew you had to go
to stretch you knew found wings
this town was to small for you
you deserve grater things
took off to the big city
and left all you knew behind
never looking back at once was you broken life

so many tears I cried
because I felt alone
months of waiting for a phone call
and wishing to see your smile
then in my darkest hour
fate dealt me a good hand
i called a cell phone number
and heard your voice on the other end
i couldn't believe my ears
it wasn't to long before we were in tears

so dear friend my soul mate
i will always be here for you
and when you want the best laugh or the hardest cry
just think of me and I'll be there
to share with you a seat

Cocoon

Adorned in autumn crimson safety
i find a place to make my change
twisting,turning,slowly wrapping
tender flesh in silken thread
this maple tree from which i hang
will sing me a frosted song
wrapped in blankets white
colder months are yet to come

Muse

fates evil grip holds my heart
yet i knew from the start
if i to have one moments kiss
a piece of me would not exist
elusive memories to far to touch
age's mournful whip
will draw blood
you stole my life my breath that day
only to mount it in a frame
on stretched canvas is were it lies
my love for you i dare not show
is on display and still unknown
unknown to all but you and i
a forbidden truth that we must hide
an untouched love not yet broke
blinded by an uneven yoke
one strike two strike, i just can't bear
that of simple logic is never fair
if you can not love
than what am i to you
please don't tell me, i'm just your muse
