No Ground To Stand On

paint a picture of a landscape thats surreal to reality
a place that you could never imagine
where water flows to the sky
and the rain comes from the ground
no trees for cover
no mountains to gaze at
just water flowing through the ground
ripping life away from all it encounters
in this picture there is no ground
no solid place to fall on
its just a free fall to no where

Not Good Enough For You

I’m not the man I want to be
For you and me
Thought we could be free
Like doves in love
Now push came to shove
And I lost my dove
The one
Never good enough
Thought I was this great guy
Guess I live life too high
I just want to get by
Not lie
But I lost your trust
Lost it all
No words describe
The hate
The pain
I suffer
Wish I was good enough for you
Soon enough you’ll say we’re through
Don’t know what to do
Because I’ve lost you
The one
That I love
Like no one else before
Now I lay on the floor
Hope you don’t head for the door
But I guess you can’t take it anymore
So I lay
Motionless
On the floor
Watching you walk away
No life left
Without you
Soon enough you’ll see my blood
Flowing from my wrists
For this true bliss
Oh how it’s you I will miss.

Kiss In the Rain

Loving you is like a slow kiss in the rain,
Making time stand still like a picture in a frame
This comes from my heart to prove that I love you
The up’s; the downs; caught up in the feelings
Expressed through speakers of a boom box
Just to make your head bob
To the smooth beat; reminding us to keep moving our dancing feet
Hold you tight each and every night; to love on you a little more
I promise I won’t head to the door
Cause I’m sure you’re the one and it’s only just begun
So as time stands still; the rain trickles down our face
We meet with a soft and slow kiss
Gently brushing my lips on yours
I’m glad we can find true love even when it pours.

There Is No Place For Me Here

I don’t know who I am anymore
Not that I ever knew
Still searching for that place
To belong
A place to call my own
Trapped in this world
Blindfolded
Blinding me from seeing light
I fight a battle
With the air
Sit there and stare into darkness
Blacked out to the world
It’s dark
And freezing
Where am I
Will I come out on top
Will I see the light
Wish I had the fight
But my life is dark as night
So tonight I just might
Take my life

Slice of the Knife

one slice of the knife.
i see bloodshed.
im free to break away from these chains that suffocate my soul.
nothing left but blood on the floor.
no more pain.
im done with the game of life
someday it may make sense
but all i see it death.
break it down
crush it
take my heart
no more pain

Frozen

I stand here in the freezing rain,
Trying to numb the pain,
I try to explain,
What it feels like to breathe in water,
My body fills with fluid
But this won’t flush my pain.
Slowly freezing to ice
Laying on the ground
No motion
No emotion
Life seized by this fluid that rapes my soul
A feeling that is under no control
Just slowly drifting away.

Take Me Away

Im just so uhh.. I don’t know.
Today I show my true colors on my obvious suffering,
guessing whats wrong whats right im not sure
but for tonight I sit in a life filled with blight.
Slight sighs away to fade to black, impact, destroy your soul
make yourself into a concrete block full of nothingness only to sink to the bottom of the ocean.
I explode implode into a hardened state and remain benign till the end of time.
Oh oh it would feel so fine just to become divine, one with the earth.

It’s a message.
im not sure I’ll ever learn what to do here
im lost at a stop sign with a hundred thousand turns.
Frozen im wrapped and clung to this world of cold and harsh elements
putting strain on my vital organs raping my soul of happiness.
Making greatness seem so far away
I fade to blue and sink deep to the bottom of the volcano
becoming incinerated into something in the air to rest and roam free in life
only to see what I could have been
and sit and kill my brain cells with a negative mold of algae that is slowly breaking me into
debris. Breaking me down breaking me down to a place in the ground that is so unsound
that makes my life feel bound with a mission impossible asterisk on my name
dictating the conclusion of my freedom.
so save me please save me from a place I don’t belong for I can go on no longer.
