There Is No Place For Me Here

I don’t know who I am anymore
Not that I ever knew
Still searching for that place
To belong
A place to call my own
Trapped in this world
Blindfolded
Blinding me from seeing light
I fight a battle
With the air
Sit there and stare into darkness
Blacked out to the world
It’s dark
And freezing
Where am I
Will I come out on top
Will I see the light
Wish I had the fight
But my life is dark as night
So tonight I just might
Take my life

Life lacks vitality, meaning in the darkest moments. Hope is always on the horizon. Look above and beyond your current sorrows! Live for a brighter tomorrow, and don't look back at your jaded yesterdays! Hope springs eternal! Write about your deep suffering, but also write of brighter reams--dreams and goals for your rennovated future.

I can't even trust myself let alone believe in myself but thanks for the support

We often stand in the dark, feeling alone. Not aware of all the outstretched arms. Hands, waiting to be grasped, to be lifted out of the black. Believe in yourself and the light will come.
