Kayla Tombaugh Poem
Why would you do this to me?
It seems like you don’t think I exist
Please don’t take my heart and break it
My tears fall like rain
Yet you seem oblivious
To how I feel inside
How could this happen?
For I’m not strong enough
To handle this disappointment
This family you could have had
Will no longer be an option
Your actions show what kind of man you can be
From this betrayal
Disappointed with myself
For wanting to share my life with you
Why would you be so selfish?
Why, why, why?
Too bad you messed up
And thought of nobody but yourself
I will mourn the loss of what could have been
Never to forget
The way I thought it might have been
You took my heart and broke it
Without realizing you could

Kayla Tombaugh Poem
Frustrated with people
Tired of the accusations
Why won’t anybody believe
That I am fine
With how life is right now
Please leave me alone
Give me peace
To figure out the problems
Of everyday life
Nothing too serious
On my mind
To concern outsiders
Just let me be
Happy with the small pleasures
Do not need anything else
Give me strength
To accomplish my daily chores
Nothing in life makes me happier
Than my family’s happiness
Do not mock my selflessness
