Invisible

I'm Invisible
Gone unseen
Invisible me
Looked at yet not seen

Watching as the world passes by
Watching as you pass me by
Looking right into my midnight eyes
Talking to the girl by my side

Labeled Invisible
Because no one noticed
Labeled Invisible
Because you never noticed

I, me, standing there
My beauty screaming
You stand there silent
Unable to hear me

I'm Invisible
Gone unseen
Invisible me
Looked at yet not seen

Colors

Bright reds and yellows
Purples and blues
Which is your favorite
Which would you choose?

A rainbow of colors
And, oh, what a vision
Which is your favorite
Could you make a decision?

The answer is simple
It comes from within
But not quite so easy
Is the color of skin

Be it black, white or brown
It is the judge of our worth
And that decision was made
At the moment of birth

But looking from the outside
Doesn't show the heart
And the woth of a man
Is there from the start.
