Abandon Ship!

Abandon ship! Were going down!
down to Davy Jones' part of town.
captain and crew both their fate to be,
for they all comprise one entity.
flooding complete,
no space to stand,
sink or swim,
come on and take my hand.
a guide to where you need to go,
lost between sane and the shadows.
is it I to blame for what has happened,
or was it a plan,
take my mind and take my passion.

Change of Beauty

and as i lift my head up to the sky,
i see a bird, a passerby.

when i turn and look upon my left,
a tree whos leaves are yellow and red.

Woah! Whats there? a swirl of bees,
conduct pollen hunts behind of me.

over there upon my right,
enough acorns for a squirrel to last the night.

Summers end as we embrace in Autumn.
we change our attire,
Nature changes its colors.

just one more day of art,
a masterful display,
for all that is landscape,
each view a painted beauty

Tv

stare until my eyes start to bleed,
mystified gaze, what could be of such beauty?
drop jaw, in a trance! What could it be?
TV will be the death of me.

Obstacles

A hurdle i can take,
or even an elephant too.
but this time its too much,
obstacles too big,
more like an avalance has fallen right at my feet.
i try to jump in and make my way across,
but frozen stuck in this tundra,
no way out and cant turn back.

Everybody Loves!

everybody loves a man,
who can love and care like women can.
everybody loves a boy,
who treats family like he treats his toys.
everybody loves a kid,
who respects his elders as society intends.
everybody loves their mother,
at least i hope for thats who ensures their comfort!
if everybody loves each other,
then the glue will hold us from going under.

House of Blues

is it wrong to also think for me,
when making two people happy.
when all i want is some pure love,
and all she wants is rules without trust.
what is love
when there is no trust?
can it be kept,
for our sake it must.
for this passion i have never seen,
fiery spit of love and teeth.
no matter where this battle choose,
ill follow to the house of blues.

Rational Faith

Subjective objection to lack of objective proof,
Overpowering faith defies scientific truth.
Perimeter observations,
No rationalization but this,
The supernatural creates,
For we do exist.

Sit on the gate and continue to speculate,
Why the sheep stay in fleet, don't look to escape this fate.

Con'T

Shovel dirt shovel dirt, motions I keep seeing.
And as the war rages on, dig a hole deeper,
for myself this battle is done.
As I look around to see a landscape so meek,
Think of times where trees and flowers would speak.
When Nature was the cure,
But we each coming beauty my head still filled of gore.
How long shall I suffer,
and let my head sit, muttered, cluttered
crying tears of discontent.
Push forward, HOORAH!
Plunge deep in the flurry,
Cuts, wounds, all sizes of bruises,
My body can take it,
The heart always loses.
Battle after battle,
Glory or defeat.

Each one does’t matter, the damage is done.
Arsenal depleted, time for the white flag to be drawn.

Lonesome

unfathomable depth of hell,
vast mysticism in space,
surrounded, puzzled,
confront lonliness face to face.

Civil War

Cant sit nor stand without looking over my shoulder,
I hear the beat of the drum, the war is closer.
Feel it’s rumble, so close to home,
It shakes hard on my heart,
It’s here, in this room.
An explosion of passion lights up the sky,
But with each new color, my heart withers inside.
Irrational attack, my weakness,
Surprise.
A lengthy civil war,
The world translucent through teary eyes.
Tremble and wait,
There is no escape.
An attack on the mind, I fold and I quake.
Heart in pieces, confusion,
Is it genius or a fraud?
My number one enemy is my number one love.
