The Angels Envy Our Love

As our eyes shut in darkest night.
Angels envy our love for each other.
Our smiling faces with closed eyes.
Our sweet temporary farewells until we wake to say good morning.
Angels swoon in romantic daydreams.
That a love smaller than ours would grace them.
That our embrace would fall into Storyland.
Angels stand awake in envy watching closely at our very own love's melody.

Maybe One Day

Maybe one day I will not remember my own name.
Maybe I will forget every memory.
Maybe one day I'll forget how to breathe.
Maybe one day I will just end up a broken part in an antique store.
Maybe one day I'll forget love's painful scorn.
Maybe one day I will forget to see.
Maybe one day I'll fly away.
Maybe I'll forget the pain.
Hopefully I'll forget that before my own name.

Clarity

Clarity is a rarity.
A commodity that's hard to find.
A looking glass of situations.
A clear and clean mind.

Tell Me a Tale

Tell me a tell of summers' past.
Of Sunsets and seashells lying in our path.

Tell me a tale of Autumn leaves, crunching beneath our feet.
Of cold crisp air that kisses our cheeks.
Of Autumn's pallet that stains mountain peaks.

Tell me a tale of dark skies contrasting the white snowfall.
Of red cheeks and noses.
Of sleigh rides and mistletoe.
Of Singing Christmas carols.

Tell me a tale of melting snow.
Of flowers blooming and birds chirping.
Of the sun peeking up at the big blue sky.
Of little ducks swimming with their mothers in ponds nearby.

Tell me a tale of seasons.
Of all the wonderful things to know.
Of life's simplicities.
And all the stories you know.

In a Blink of An Eye

Oh how life changes in a blink.
One minute life is one thing and then you're left not knowing what to do or think.
Should I blink and it will all pass before me?
Should I stare into Fate's all knowing eyes?
Shall I stare up waiting for pleasant skies?
Which fork in the road will lead me to my fate?
Right?
Left?
Which one is the mistake?
Shall I be carried away into the ocean tide?
Or shall I swim away to the other side?
To blink or not to blink it all depends on what you think.

Gravity of You

No matter what I do or how hard I try it always comes back to you in a blink of an eye. No
matter what i'm thinking. No matter what i'm doing. Because you always have this way of
being there. Standing in the back of my mind. Staring at me with your eyes making me wish
i'd gone blind. Making me wish we've never met. Making me dance like a marionette. I
blush you smile. I melt you shake your head at me making me wish I was dead. But there's
that smile, raw and alluring. Blurring my sanity and vanishing my reality. Confusing,
stumbling, my racing heart I can hear it drumming. Pounding louder. Making the world whirl
around a little faster. Spinning me out of my mind. Out of control. Into the gravity that
is you.
