In a Blink of An Eye

Oh how life changes in a blink.
One minute life is one thing and then you're left not knowing what to do or think.
Should I blink and it will all pass before me?
Should I stare into Fate's all knowing eyes?
Shall I stare up waiting for pleasant skies?
Which fork in the road will lead me to my fate?
Right?
Left?
Which one is the mistake?
Shall I be carried away into the ocean tide?
Or shall I swim away to the other side?
To blink or not to blink it all depends on what you think.

Wow! I can add so much to this. My life changed with just words. No eye blink, but you sure do have a point there with all them questions. Enjoyed your poem,..p.d.
