Melody Clark Poem
I need someone
to wash my clothes,
to fix my breakfast
and butter my toast,
to give me some money
when I go to town.
I see a smile,
only turned upside down.
To do all the chores
and the yard work too.
In return, all she gets
is nothing, what's new?
I like to complain
and maybe tell a lie,
but not until later
do I see the hurt in Mom's eyes.

Melody Clark Poem
I wake up to you every morning,
your face I can see.
I'd like to share a happy moment,
but it will never be.
Our times together could have been fun.
We would play ball, laugh and run.
As the years went by, I'd go to school.
I played many sports, thinking of you.
I got a job and worked very hard
to save my money and buy a car.
I took you for a ride
and as we cruised together,
I thought of how much fun we could have had,
but no, not ever.
It was all a dream
I guess I had.
Someone to be here
that I could call Dad.

Melody Clark Poem
A place that's divine,
a heart without soul.
The Heaven's above us,
Hell is below.
To creep like the wicked,
to shine like a dove,
to kill in a rage of anger,
to love as thee above.
To judge as many do,
to forgive as He will do,
to torment the mind,
to cleanse the soul.

Melody Clark Poem
I have to fly, for I'm in search of.
I don't know far I'll have to go,
but when I get there,
I'm sure I'll know.
My journey was far,
as time did pass by.
I'm still in search of, but why?
It wasn't until upon my return,
that I heard God ask,
"What have you learned?"
As I heard his voice,
I felt all aglow.
For it was just God's love
that I wanted to know.

Melody Clark Poem
Do you hear what I hear?
Do you take the time to listen?
Some of us take for granted
what others are missing.
Can you see what's all around you,
for it is a beautiful place?
Some cannot see,
for it is dark upon their face.
Can't you speak, but keep silent
the words you feel are there?
Share them with your loved ones
to let them know you care.
Precious are our lives,
for our time grows near.
Give your life to Jesus
and know no fear.
