All day I think about you, what you're doing and wondering are you thinking about me
I waited all day to wrap my hands around you, my love for you I want you to see.
Words can't express the way I feel about you, I want to give my all in this blissful connection
I promise that I will be the bestfriend you need and that there is true dedication.
Take me on this journey call life and make sure I explore every part of your heart
I want to remain in your presence and I know that we will never part.
I can't believe that this is happening to me, I was at a point where I gave up all hope on this
thing called "love"
Then you came along and brighten up my life and showed me that there is a reason to smile
and let my feelings fly like a beautiful dove.
You took your time to get to know me, you never judged me, never said I was too much
women for you, and you always kept a positive outlook about us
That's why I only have eyes for you, when I was at the most chaotic moments in my life you
reached out your hand and told me everything will be alright.

It seemed like I was on a magic carpet ride with your words
You were telling me things I've never heard.
It's funny how you made me believe that you were different
I tried to love and show you that I was real but out the door you went.
Trusting you was my biggest mistake
Your words, actions, and love turned out to be fake.
I am a woman that you played with and scorned
My heart, my life, my world, and future seems so torn.
I just want to scream to get out all of the pain I feel
Yet I smile and hide all of these emotions because it doesn't seem real.
Something deep down inside told me that this was too good to be true
The person you portrayed in the beginning wasn't the real You!

I feel like a fool because I wasted my time with you.
I feel like a fool because I can't let go of you.
I feel like a fool because I thought I could trust you.
I feel like a fool because I can't stop thinking about you.
I feel like a fool because I won't stop loving you.
I feel like a fool because I know I need to get over you.
I feel like a fool because of you, so that's why in the end the chapter of my life there
will be no more "YOU"!

All I needed was a little sign
I swear, sometimes my heart can be so blind
Drifting down this lonely highway with no direction
There was a lack of affection, no dedication yet I still yearning for your attention
Didn't know that I was capable of hurt
Even though you did so much dirt
Gave you a taste of your own medicine
Guess a spoonful was too much because you whispered, "it is embarrassing"
The saying goes, "Time heals all wounds"
In our case, from the beginning this relationship was doomed
You assumed that you had me wrapped around your finger
These feelings wasn't strong enough to linger
We can agree that we both of came out as winners

I love you in the morning
I love you in the evening
I love you more at night
When you're around me everything seems so right
I don't like to fight so let's make up and hold me tight
I love how you make me feel
That's how I know what we have is real
I love that you love me pass my pain, past and fears
I love when I'm crying and you wipe away my tears
I will love you for the rest of my life
I love just thinking that one day you will make me your wife
Never leave my side because without you I am not whole
My heart is all yours and I give you full control
Our love will stand strong through the test of times
Because I know that the love you are giving is all mine

I thought that we were going to go places
Everytime I look up, you say that I'm always changing faces.
I cannot begin to understand exactly where we went wrong
I just knew in my heart that our relationship would last long.
Maybe we moved too fast just to tell others that we were in a relationship
It's sad because we argue so much that one of us was bound to split.
They say everything happens for a reason
I guess it wasn't meant to be, not this season.

When I wake up in the morning and find you laying next to me, it makes my heart melt
You're making me feel something so warm and fulfilling inside, hell it's a feeling I never felt
I look forward to every intimate and deep conversation that we have
When I add it all up; you+me+love+our future, here's our math.
When you're gone I long for your kisses, hugs, and your ever so gentle touch
Words can't express how I began to miss you so much.
I say these things because this is how you make me feel inside
You made it possible for me to love again, so I let my guard down and put my pride aside.
I can't stop smiling because I know that you are the one for me
With your love wrapped around me, I am assured that this is our destiny.

Through the midst of the storm, I Smile
Walking through a crowded room, I Smile
Being down and out, I Smile
Ready to give up at times, I Smile
Becoming so overwhelmed by negativity, I Smile
People talking bad about me, I Smile
Having no one to turn too, I Smile
Realizing that I have a lot to be thankful for, I Smile
Counting my blessings, I Smile

I know that you are in a better place
Yet, I'm kind of sad I cannot see your face.
I wish I would have told you that I love you more
It's okay because I know that you are waiting at heaven's door.
I feel like you left this earth too quickly and I didn't get a chance to say goodbye
But I was with you when your last breath was taken, then I saw angel's fly.
I want you to know that I will always love you for the rest of my life
Everyday I am reassured that things will be alright.
I understand that it was in God's plan to have you with him in heaven's gates
Your not here with me physically and that is something I hate.
I have to learn to except that fact that you are no longer present
Having you as my father is something I will never forget.
