In Complete Denial

It seemed like I was on a magic carpet ride with your words You were telling me things I've never heard. It's funny how you made me believe that you were different I tried to love and show you that I was real but out the door you went. Trusting you was my biggest mistake Your words, actions, and love turned out to be fake. I am a woman that you played with and scorned My heart, my life, my world, and future seems so torn. I just want to scream to get out all of the pain I feel Yet I smile and hide all of these emotions because it doesn't seem real. Something deep down inside told me that this was too good to be true The person you portrayed in the beginning wasn't the real You!
