The Wrong Way

All I needed was a little sign I swear, sometimes my heart can be so blind Drifting down this lonely highway with no direction There was a lack of affection, no dedication yet I still yearning for your attention Didn't know that I was capable of hurt Even though you did so much dirt Gave you a taste of your own medicine Guess a spoonful was too much because you whispered, "it is embarrassing" The saying goes, "Time heals all wounds" In our case, from the beginning this relationship was doomed You assumed that you had me wrapped around your finger These feelings wasn't strong enough to linger We can agree that we both of came out as winners
