Pansy Park Poem
Why does it
hurt to breathe?
Is it him
haunting me?
I’m scared.
Yea, I know I’m filled with fear.
Dear...
He was dear to me,
He sure was.
But I know I can’t run
Because I’m tired.
I’m sure I’ve said it before—
Before he walked
through that door.
He’s gone.
And now I can’t breathe.
I can feel him
haunting me.
When I look to my sides
I can see this man
I want so desperately.
But I should try to stop.
But my love
is just too much.
I can see him
in front of me.
All I can think:
"Wow, isn’t this lovely?"
Do you think he remembers me?
Funny...
Does he?
Trust me, it’s probably fear
Because he’s there.

Pansy Park Poem
The feeling of dread as I hear,
“Come for dinner.”
All I can truly think about:
“How many calories?”
“Will I gain weight?”
I’m truly scared that this is my fate.
Sitting in front of my toilet,
Two fingers stuck down my throat—
It’s a good feeling,
All I can do is boast.
I haven’t eaten in weeks;
It’s not foreign.
Is this really my calling?
They always say to me,
“You need to eat.”
But I don’t want to indulge
Into any delicious treat.
It’s too fattening.
Fat.
It’s my biggest fear to gain those pounds.
It’s scary, so I won’t eat.
After a while I couldn’t eat,
And it led me to no sleep.
Keep.
It’s not hard to keep words like these a secret;
In this world, beauty is all I believe in.
Grievance.
I grieve for the old me,
The one who didn’t care about food troubles,
Or the fact that I want a McDouble.
But I can’t—
I truly can’t.
It’s a struggle to not eat.
I swear it’s killing me.
I can’t stomach it.
I’ll be like this forever...
Well, I’ll just have to dwell in it.

Pansy Park Poem
I want to walk down that aisle, flowers in hand
The man that I want standing there so grand.
I’m scared of marriage, though.
Love for me is fear.
I crave it.
I want it so bad that it makes me mad
To see a man I want to live my life with
Leave.
But what can I say?
It’s because of me.
I’m too difficult; he can’t deal with it.
But I want to stay...
Two children, the countryside,
Loving life with him by my side.
I try to find this love so desperately
But it doesn’t belong to me.
So I wish...
I wish...
I wish upon a shooting star
That love can see me thus far

Pansy Park Poem
True Blue
Fake smiles. Fake people.
They say that they love me,
But I know it’s not true.
I give and give, but never take—
That’s the end that’s due.
Blue.
These days as I go on,
All I could feel is blue.
We aren’t the same right now,
And I know it’s true.
Sue—if I could sue for the pain you cause me,
I would be rich with envy.
Dizzy as I walk up and down,
Hoping you’ll change your mind
And turn my frown upside down.
But I know you won’t,
Because you think you're never wrong,
And that’s the one I don’t—
The one I don’t see as true blue.
You really have me blue,
But I don’t wanna be.
