Dusk and Dawn

We dont get along
Had it been from the very start
Nuances and whispers
The thought of you
Was what I pursued

I perceive and give the rest to you
I get half and you get full
At dusk your poems subdue
Grey-looking and hardly anew

I had never really met you,
All I saw was your face glistening
On the oceans surface
Dazzling eyes looking afar

Separate we shall be, and-
So if the Sun calls you one last time
Remember to wave from afar

Is this all I need?

With her azure dress
And moonlit eyes
She gazes within the unseen
Her voice as sweet as ripe peach
Still time may linger wary
Yet with a simple glance
She offers
“Would you like a cup of tea?”

Luckily, it seems that this is only for me
A languid texture beguiling sorrow
She paints the canvas of the morrow
If a smile is what she needs
Then a smile let it be

Jupiter

Let the fruits be fruits and
Let Jupiter be my symbolism

No place to rest, but once I witness a glimpse of your moons
The hurricane within softens

Was the Sun too hot for you?
Stepping farther and farther away
Had it been me
Id have turned to dust

A faint ring surrounds
Promising something later?
For now, Farewell
Until we meet again,
Perhaps in 12 or so years

Long ago

My memories have all but faded
Somehow I still remember how much
Life had really meant to her
“To yearn or to long, which one shall it be?”
I know now that the stress on ‘yearn’ was not due to her accent
“Yearn for a living”
She always said
