A ghost's shadow

Anytime we were together
All you did was point my flaws
Got caught in the snakes fangs
As you had your grip on me

How could you be so hot
Have a grip on me like a vice
But yet colder than ice
I want to be someone to never forget

But I can be forgotten like a dream
As if knit by fate
I cant seem to escape
between the seams of life and death

You broke me and left me depressed
Your figure fades leaving me stressed
Should've known when you confessed

Hid in the warmth of your lies
But you wanted to cut ties
We used to be so close
Funny how time flies

I rot
I corrupt
I run from my demons
Withstanding the rest

Loved me for my flaws
But funny how you told me to end it all
Like your ghost in my room at night
Flickering darkness in broad daylight
As the void pulls
Our love ignites
As you as you hide yourself within my night

A wolf in sheep's clothing tryna find me out
You shed your disguise to lead me to death
As I bleed out I don't shout

Leave me dying in your ghosts arms
Left in the orphanage of forgotten names
You act like you mean no harm
Sad you don't have a shame

We talking honestly I feel oppressed
Like every word leaves me depressed
Leaving me overly stressed
My suspicions I had to suppress

Talking to you drives me insane
I tried to love but you left me shamed
Will your falsehoods ever be named

You were messing with me and it filled with me with dread
Left me bleeding and better off dead
Stuck inside my head
f-ing with him instead
I tried my best
But I'm not worth your time
I went through life finding the rhythm and rhyme
I wish I could fall over and not get back up

You figure fades like smothering flame
As I hope to hear you whisper my name
Without you it doesn't feel tame
All in all I just don't feel the same

These scars don't heal with the present
These eyes don't recover from what they've seen
Bodies in a coffin and I cant recover
Memories to move on as I remember

Only time I'm in rest is when I'm dead
So I'm hoping I could've taken your place instead

The weight you left

I tried to love
But you left me bleeding
Cracked dreams and love receding
Will I ever try again
Or will I give up and let it end

Just let it out
I'll listen

Our love grows like water
But we let it sink, and let it glisten

Tell me where we went wrong
Every I love you was forced
But don't worry about it all

Evening scars and a blade
I can only erase mistakes I've made
Watching as your figure fades
But me, I am a mistake

Think of our love as a race
Keeping our love at a pace
But all I need to do is vent

Last year alone I had 30 attempts
Get a gun to my head so that I get exempt
From suffering a heartbreak
Suffering a loss

I'm scared to lose you, who I hold close
Gave me fake love until I overdosed
Our love was made of material things
Gave me pain until my head rings

But its fine until

I reach in my pocket for the thing I keep tucked
BANG!
Now I can end the pain
Gun to my head
mix my blood with the rain
Eyes turned black from the pain I cant contain
Slit my throat its all the same
Cut my wrist, no you dont know my name
I cant take it so I

Take pills to numb the pain
Slit my wrist to make me tame
Cut my throat its all the same
Rope and a chair for feelings I cant contain

I tried to love
You left me bare
I decided to use a bullet to the brain
To send a final prayer

To those I love
I'm sorry I'm leaving
Hang myself on the clouds above

Is love real
Or was it fake
Told me I was a steal
You lying snake
I tried and put everything at stake
But you robbed me of it all

I want to die but I cant see where
I want to live but I cant end the pain
Tell me why I hide
Tell me how to die

Under a tree to hide from the rain
Hide in my thoughts to escape the pain
Hide in my friends to keep me sane
Cower in my house to stay in my lane

I tried
I died
I lost it all

I cried as you dug my grave
I smiled as you hid my pain
But it all was a lie
You told me to die
You said for me to commit suicide
So I tried

I disappeared into the vast emptiness of your heart
I became a forgotten name
Like a moth to a vanishing flame
But I never recovered
Dragging my body
Wherever is tame

Ghost

Who'll notice a candle smolder
Who'll be with me if I grow older
Who'll stay with me under moonlit snow
Who'll watch me if I grow old

Under the stars and the moonlit sky
You're not here and I question why
Was it my fault or was it nigh
Was it the end or would I fight

Scars and bruising beyond return
I'm left yearning for your return

Arms out and voice unheard
I miss your voice though very stern

Life without you feels amiss
like every touch missed a kiss

Your hazel eyes left me shattered
Without you, nothing really matters

Days fly past me without a trace
Missing the time where you made me race
Now you vanished
Without a trace

Why won't I let go
You left and buried me under snow
But still I can't undergo

Changes that I just can't accept
Losing you but yet

Love dies
Time flies
Cutting ties
It's my demise

I lost sleep to your ghost
Your voice still haunts me the most
I can't get rid of the yearn
Most waiting for your return

Why can't I let go
Well I just loved you most
Some say time rids you of ache
Well time leaves me to contemplate

I thought death would end the pain
But I left them in the rain
With feelings uncontained

I won't leave for a little while
Not until I see her smile
One more time for the ghost
Another yearns for her the most

I recede back where I belong
Echoing voice of who went wrong
Not knowing where it belongs

Now he's the ghost
But yet nobody needs him most
He's a flickering candle about to burn out
But he's missing a piece he can't live without

Fading out

I still hear your voice in my head
Still lingering on the things I said
Wishing I could take your place instead

You lifted me up
But you left an ember
We might be weak
But we were stronger together
But now I hold the ties you try to sever

You were the light in my void
Healing the scars I tried to destroy
But now you're gone
And I'm left to my own abyss

You shattered me to fragments
I try to piece together
Missing when you changed my weather

You lifted me up
But vanished again
You left a flickering
Smoldering flame
But now...
You're gone...
And I echo your name
Like an attachment
To an empty name

Like morning dew reflects your sight
You numbed the pain, but dulled the light
Like the morning brightness numbs through the mist
You got simple charms that're hard to resist

If I lost myself at the summit
Lost grip and start to plummet
Who would save me from the fall
who would save what can't resolve

Inner peace is hard to find
No place I can truly bind
I'm stuck to wander
Lost and ponder
Where to go
What it means
Who is it
That'll save me from my dreams

Losing you felt like I lost my way
Static feelings but wishing you'd stayed
Flickering darkness in broad daylight
I'd lie
and I'd lie
Until I'd die

Losing you felt like a puzzle to solve
Flickering emotions start to cease
Static hearts start to decrease
but why is everyone leaving me be

Losing you made me reach for closure
I bind you tight
Until it's over
I held you close
You held a knife
But now that you're gone
These are my final goodbyes

Who'll notice my candle burn out
Who's gonna save me from my doubt
If it's all in my head
why does it fill me with dread
But I wish I could've taken your place instead
I guess
I thought
Your love that made me ache
Maybe
The feeling I can't replace
Is just a memory from a lost grace
I don't know...
A place where I truly belong
I just thought...
The efforts
Would go away
But goodbye to the mistakes
I wish I could erase

Regrets

I'm an avid dreamer
To see you in life
To see us together

I'm stargazing wishing you'd talk back
I'm staring the sun down hoping you'd reply
But at the typing bubbles fade, no response
I drink, I cut, I bleed, for love was what I seem

To need to want, its all the same
To have a goal, to have a dream
To want attention and to want fame
To want to know someone to need a team

I'm a failure in it's own
I tried I tried but I've never grown
Who's going to help me when I'm down
Who going to save me from what i've found

I drag my dark to the light
A test despite
Anxiety pushes me back like friction
My emotions are real not fiction
I can make my own choices no diction
But us apart makes me feel distant

I've lost my mind over a joke
Months later I choke
On tears of regret
Of tears of choice
But as I live it up
I forget my sins

Losing friends
Losing lovers
It's grown numb
I need to shed my skin
To release the regret deep within
But as I see the end
Happiness is what I append

Coffin

You left me encased
After all I erased
Before all we faced
But now I'm replaced

A petty flame
That grew too big
An empty name
The coffin we dig

I opened my walls
You slammed them down
You ignored all my calls
Now I won't come out

A shut-in for life
After my heart led a knife
through the dirt through the mud
where had it all begun

Say hate
Well that's strong
Say it's fate
that's wrong

You kicked me down
You drug me under
Soft rain
While you let out thunder

I open the window
And all my doors
I gave it my all
And you still want more

Some Melody

a single kiss
a silent goodbye
i really miss
the lullaby
a sweet melody in the night
a gentle wind makes me feel alright
to drown the pain
to ease the hurt
to hide the rain
to clean the dirt
off my back
off my face
off the life
off the earth

Fragmented Ghost

took a blow to the heart
Then woke up with a start
You're just a faded ghost
But you still make me race

You proved problematic
Bridges turn to ashes
You called me problematic
I'm trying not to panic
You're make believe
You're just a ghost
Why does your voice hurt me the most

But I see
We were never meant to be
White lies stitched to my brain
Addiction to love
Addiction to pain

You're just a fragment of a ghost
You're echo hurts the most
But you're drifting away
Slowly like a feather

You're just too late
You left me to my fate
Why does your voice just resonate~

I watch you walk away
I didn't think you'd leave
I thought you knew you meant everything to me

I held you close
You held a knife
I helped heal deep scars
You caused me worse harm

You proved problematic
Bridges turn to ashes
You proved me problematic
I'm trying not to panic

You told me I was safe
I think about all damn day
I just wish you wouldn't fade
before
I fell for you
I wish that you could help me too

Your shadow

I sit in the silence of my room at night
No voices, no sound, but its all in my head
Soothing the ache so I can take your place instead

I stare at your ghost through dull eyes
Keeping its grip like a vice

Your shadow's stuck in my room
Flickering, vanishing, like a smoldering flame
The texts I've sent still whisper your name

Flickering darkness in blinding sun
Trying to find where it all begun
Was it true feeling or was it all in my heart
Was it in the end or was it the start

I lost sleep to your ghost
Your voice still haunts me the most
Like you're the parasite and I'm the host

Love's an infection, a decease
Watching as your love begun to cease
Watching my self-worth decrease

You're the source of my light
The ignition to my flame
We were so.. so.. tight
Now there's silence with your name

I need you to stay by my side
You're all I've known
Please don't go

Like dark clouds cut the light
You took my sun and turned it night
You blinded me on sight

Like early dawn cuts through the mist
Simple charms that are hard to resist
You stole my heart and formed a fist
I wrote my regrets
You're on that list

Rising void
Flickering flame
A silent whisper follows your name

Now I say goodnight to your vanishing ghost
Your voice
Is what I miss the most

Remains

You're just a ghost
But your voice still haunts me the most
You made my heart race
with feelings i can't replace
I stand face to face
with your ghost I hallucinate

I miss your touch
Your hands
Your face
I miss your warmth
Your feelings
I can't replace
you were my light
But...
You left without a fight
You fade into night
now I'm never alright

You're just a ghost
But your voice still haunts me the most
I reach for you, but you fade again
Why am I the one who remains

You flicker away
a smoldering flame
You pass me like time
Stealing my rhyme
losing rhythm
losing touch
missing the way
you made me rush

Why did you leave when I still stayed
Why did you heal what you couldn't save
Why do I beg for a ghost that won’t stay
Why am I the one who remains
Why
why
why
I lost myself to time
Like loving you was a crime

You're just a ghost
But your voice still haunts me the most
I reach for you, but you fade again
Why am I the one who remains

I got used to your love
But you're a distant star
high above
You lit rooms I knew well
And darkened the rooms I felt
You numbed my pain
You cleared the rain
But now...
 I can't contain

Subtle actions to keep your light
A kiss, a cuddle, those gentle nights
Vivid dreams where we don't fight
But you can't see it
But it's still there
And it hurts, drowns me in fear
Numb from the fact
That you're not here

Why must I suffer
WHY must I hurt
Why must I be dragged through dirt

You lit my world
not once but twice
Just another glance will suffice
It's not your fault
Would echo in my mind
Like the subtle thoughts
I just can't find

You make me yearn
You make me ache
Like an echo in a cave
But
You're the ghost I just can't save

Like a worn light flickers out
You're the ghost I can't live without
Like your subtle shadow quiets my name
Your echoing voice makes me feel its name

You're just a ghost
But your voice still haunts me the most
I reach for you, but you fade again
Why am I the one who remains

You left a mark
A fallen shade
All you left...
Was the regret you made
