Coffin

You left me encased
After all I erased
Before all we faced
But now I'm replaced

A petty flame
That grew too big
An empty name
The coffin we dig

I opened my walls
You slammed them down
You ignored all my calls
Now I won't come out

A shut-in for life
After my heart led a knife
through the dirt through the mud
where had it all begun

Say hate
Well that's strong
Say it's fate
that's wrong

You kicked me down
You drug me under
Soft rain
While you let out thunder

I open the window
And all my doors
I gave it my all
And you still want more

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
