Raymond Wright Poem
I think of you, James
And my body reacts
You give me fire
And light…
You invented passion,
Invented carnal grace
You kiss me, and
The world falls away
I need to hold you down,
Own you
Make you mine
There is nothing when I am with you
Only you. Us.
I can taste you now
Recalling your sweet, fiery kisses
Your beautiful cock
Then there are your hands (oh, how could I forget?) ,
Your strong, gentle hands
Touch me, caress me…
Pull me into you
I am inside you, and
The world is a memory
You are the moon
Pulling the tide
I am music
You are my fire

Raymond Wright Poem
And so it begins again,
This dance we do.
Spinning about
Arm in arm
Soaring above the fray
Lifted to the heavens
Entangled and entwined
The taste of your lips:
Transcendent
Your fingers down my spine:
Shudders and tremors and quivering euphoria
Shoes and shirts and trousers
Scattered all around
I want you inside me
But, the moment has to wait
(I let my kisses linger,
Let my hunger grow.)
There are other ways to please you,
And in our ardor we cannot haste.
After all these years,
Our momentum does not slow.
Finally, decisively:
We move toward the bed
Falling down
Arm in arm
Swimming against the tide
Lifted to the heavens
Entangled and entwined

Raymond Wright Poem
i look toward the sunlight
turn my back against the night
everything has changed
and everything has changed me
for all the mental beatings
i took in my life
for every time you lied
for every time i let it go
and every time i held it in
a new lesson learned
a new day dawns
and the sun shines down
and the tears on my face
that you created with your hardness
born of your pain and of your sorrow
will dry forever today
as the warm breeze that
carries the scent of spring blossoms
across this perfect april morning
takes my breath away

Raymond Wright Poem
My head in my hands,
Your name on my lips
And the icy winter wind
Freezes my tears
Crystalline spheres of grief
Shatter like frosted diamonds
Upon the stone which bears your name
I speak to you:
I miss you
I love you
I beg for your forgiveness
I offer a prayer
A whimper
A sob
A scream
I wipe my eyes
Again and again
I stand. Slowly, achingly
I Turn my back against the pain
I make my way
Through the freshly fallen snow
Away from this lonely place, yet
Never far from you

Raymond Wright Poem
Turning,
at the last second.
I catch the briefest flicker of your smile through the crowd.
Like lighting - on this cloudy and
wind-swept afternoon - it thrills me
to my soul.
I wonder. I wander through my lust. I picture your body,
naked and pure. I long to touch it, to taste it,
to find pleasure in it’s perfection. To find reprieve
in your arms. A dangerous and delicious endeavor.
Swiftly, I pull myself from this longing.
You are moving toward me. A generous
glittering in your eyes making my hope a
true and tangible thing. A wink, a nod
and I know that you are mine.
I move toward the door and you are at my side.
