Sophia Raye Poem
Standing in the library of lives.
Trying to decide which one to learn from.
Picking up each book, reading the lines that have yet to be.
This life lies, this life hides, this one dies.
Which one is brought out of its slump?
Which life needs careful care?
This life cries, this life tries, this one looked me in my eyes.
Is this the life needing to roam?
Which ones has a home?
This life feels, this life heals, this one is real.
Making the decision that this life will be me.
“Welcome home!” I hear echoing off the wooden rails of the brand new cradle.

Sophia Raye Poem
Sophomore year, arguably one of the worst years in a teenage life.
I met you when i was at my lowest, innocence being challenged.
You preyed on that.
You broke me in so many ways you refuse to see.
I saved you, in my bathroom, throw up from a Percocet all over you.
I held you, i comforted you, i held you down when you didn’t want me to.
A 15 year old shouldn’t be helping a 17 year old drug addict in secret.
WE weren’t good to each other, I’ve acknowledged that you haven’t.
I’ve apologized, you haven’t.
You take me for granted because you have this perfect little rich girl that makes you forget where you came from.
She wasn’t there when you were dying.
She has the version of you i made.
I tried to be nice before i donated everything away, asked if you wanted it.
You sent your little rich girl to tell me I’m obsessed.
Yeah I was and am mean but you created that. I’m trying to better my life.
You’re still going on benders.
You’re still burying your pain in the little rich girl, on the mattress i gave you.
I’m trying to get out of the rotten chokehold you had on my mind and my soul.
I don’t hate you, i don’t love you, i don’t even care about you.
This is me realizing you didn’t deserve me.
Which in turn you didn’t deserve to live.
I hope years down the line, when you’re as miserable as you made me.
You’ll stay awake staring at the ceiling.
Thinking about me in either hate or love.
You realize what you’ve done to me.
You realized everything i did for you.
While I’ll be soundly sleeping next to my wonderful husband to be.
You made me scared of love, of connection.
We had a bond where we couldn’t leave each other for a while.
But trauma bonds don’t always last forever.
I hope in another universe i never met you, so you’d never have the chance to rot something that was only trying to help you.
And i hope you’d be the one rotting in a secluded forest like how you told me you’d do it.
You didn’t deserve all the women before me.
You’ve killed people, literally and figuratively.
I hope karma comes for you, and it will.
But in this life time you have to live with that guilt.
The next life won’t be so easy for you.
If it weren’t for me you’d be dead for four years now and no one would’ve cared.
Don’t forget that.

Sophia Raye Poem
The white light across this man made lake gives me something to watch.
As the people i thought liked me enough to be around me have the time of their lives without.
The loneliness brings me more comfort than being around a batch of judging eyes that their smiles don’t reach.
Their botched happiness is obvious to me.
As I’m about to graduate they all decide to scratch me to comfort themselves.
But I’m the one out of all of them who will truly end up happy with myself.

Sophia Raye Poem
In the name of the stars and planets.
We’re all lost in the oblivion of our minds.
While we’re stuck concentrating on our own sorrows.
There’s stars in the night sky wishing they could breathe again instead of suffocating on things they couldn’t control.

Sophia Raye Poem
I wish i could wake up next to you.
I would wanna be the first one to wake up so as you’re sleeping i can run my fingers through your hair so you can wake up in a nice way.
I want to make you French toast and bring it to you in bed whenever you had a rough day prior.
I want to iron your clothes so you look nice for work that day.
I want you to come home with an amazing dinner made and i can help you relax.
I want to take you to the cities, countries, and continents that you’ve been wanting to go see.
I want to take you to see the world.
I want to show you where i grew up and how it sparked a love for forests and dense scenery because mystery is beautiful to me.
I want you to see where my stories are from.
Where my love for paranormal and witches and spirits came from.
I want you to see what I’ve seen.
I want to take you somewhere the leaves turn colors in the fall and the entire town turns red, orange and brown.
Where it feels like a warm comfort.
I’m gonna take you places.
I want you to show me new experiences.
I want to see where your stories are from.
I want to see what you want to see.
I want to see your dreams.
I want to see your thoughts and your brain.
I want you to drive me insane with how much you fascinate me.
I want you to see my dreams, thoughts and brain.
I want you to understand my brain and I’d love to understand yours.
I want to understand your brain.
Even if it takes a lifetime or more.

Sophia Raye Poem
Watch me
Watch me as i walk around.
Your eyes see one, your brain sees another.
Watch me as you fantasize, i might consider.
Sitting up higher to get a profound view.
Watch me as you lead yourself southbound.
Get a little closer to really imagine what’s against the nylon.
Watch me as i lead your eyes into the little room, boiling from the heater.
Keep me quiet like your perfect secret.
As i trace my fingers along the edge.
Watch me as your glue adorned my cheeks.
You grew just by touching me, my skin.
Watch me as i catch you dreaming.
Question you about what you were thinking.
Make me get on my knees like a preacher.
Watch me as i make your fantasies come true.
Watch me as you make me yours.

Sophia Raye Poem
Sometimes i still think of you
The smoke you blew
Kissing my cheek
It used to make me weak
Thought we’d run away
And not tell a body
You have my teenage love
Just above your thigh
A scar, the heart of mine
I felt bad for those deep red lines
But at the time
you didn’t seem to mind
As it dripped down to the metal
You had me gentle
brains can’t keep up with eyes
As we see the sun rise
What we were, seen taboo
But is that what psycho lovers do?
You were my perfect secret
Kept you discreet
in your back pocket
Forever unable to top it, do you remember the sound
“Can we go to the playground?”
“You just want to lace round”
You called me your fallen bride
All dressed in white
But you’re meddling, wanted different dice
Held on to me too tight
You were a trembling vice
You had my teenage love
Just above your thigh
A scar, the heart of mine
I felt bad for those deep red lines
But now she seems to mind
You touched it gentle
Said if it went away you’d go mental
As we see the sun rising
Needing to realize, she can’t anew
What we were i outgrew
But now she wants to redo
Your scar, the heart of mine
Why does it make her whine
Our distortion, proof of what we knew
that’s what psycho lovers do
You ate all of me
throw my bones lovely
What happened Russeling?
You let rust in
What happened Raye?
My heart was tied, disarray
We’d never last
A love made by petrified glass
