Russeling

Sometimes i still think of you
The smoke you blew
Kissing my cheek
It used to make me weak
Thought we’d run away
And not tell a body

You have my teenage love
Just above your thigh
A scar, the heart of mine
I felt bad for those deep red lines
But at the time
you didn’t seem to mind
As it dripped down to the metal
You had me gentle
brains can’t keep up with eyes
As we see the sun rise
What we were, seen taboo
But is that what psycho lovers do?

You were my perfect secret
Kept you discreet
in your back pocket
Forever unable to top it, do you remember the sound
“Can we go to the playground?”
“You just want to lace round”

You called me your fallen bride
All dressed in white
But you’re meddling, wanted different dice
Held on to me too tight
You were a trembling vice

You had my teenage love
Just above your thigh
A scar, the heart of mine
I felt bad for those deep red lines
But now she seems to mind
You touched it gentle
Said if it went away you’d go mental
As we see the sun rising
Needing to realize, she can’t anew

What we were i outgrew
But now she wants to redo
Your scar, the heart of mine
Why does it make her whine
Our distortion, proof of what we knew
that’s what psycho lovers do

You ate all of me
throw my bones lovely
What happened Russeling?
You let rust in
What happened Raye?
My heart was tied, disarray
We’d never last
A love made by petrified glass
