Brittany Maya Poem
There's a war built inside of me.
Covered in scars.
My wounds were left unseen.
Battling a war that had me against me.
My strength has become so weak.
A demon thats trapped inside of me.
Chained on my chains, I cant break free.
The pain I once felt, I no longer feel.
I abused the girl, who was only trying to heal.
Visions of who I use to be, became a big blur.
The cries inside turned to soft whispers.
Silence has become my cure.
My heart screaming, but there was no sound.
I had nomore fight in me to go another round.
I was so lost, but the demon was found.
Raging a war inside.
Self upon self!
Me against me!
Demon against she!
Battle wounds are proof of the war within thy self, I survived.
The battle of thy self that caused alot of damage inside.
Fighting to save me from me.
I must hide.
I fought myself to stay alive.
A war within thy self I survived!

Brittany Maya Poem
Looking through the broken cracks in the mirror.
Scared of what I seen.
The reflection in the mirror, couldn't have been me.
As I try to recognize, who could it be?
I stare deeply into the mirror a little more.
It was staring back at me.
It was someone I once seen before.
It stared with eyes that showed fear.
As I look deeper and deeper.
I see the reflection crying, it has tears.
Maybe its just the broken cracks that are in the mirror.
Then the reflection became very clear.
Its the reflection of someone I once feared.
She was a monster I had to hide.
A Monsters Reflection that was me in disguise.
She was the other part of me that died.
She was the monster of my dark hidden side.
A reflection of my darkness, that over came my light.
She was me!
I was the monsters reflection.
She wasn't mine.
I was the monster that the monster had to survive.
