Kamerfthurred Atitso Ocloo Poem
Shades of Africa: In Black and White
Black, the ink of sorrow, stains the page,
Of slavery's chains, a bitter, endless rage.
Colonial scars, a legacy of pain,
Exploited riches, a cruel, enduring rain.
The weight of history, a heavy, somber shroud,
Where whispers of the past, speak only aloud
Of suffering and loss, a tragic, haunting refrain,
A shadow of despair, a constant, aching strain.
White, the gleam of hope, a diamond in the nightscape,
A tapestry woven with vibrant, radiant light.
Rich cultures blooming, a symphony of sound,
From ancient rhythms, a life-giving ground.
The strength of spirit, unbroken, bold, and free,
A legacy of resilience, for all eyes to see.
Innovation's spark, a beacon in the gloom,
A future forged in hope, escaping the tomb.
In shades of Africa, the past and present meet,
A tapestry woven, bittersweet, complete.
Black and white entwined, a complex, poignant hue,
A history of struggle, a future shining through.
The weight of sorrow, with courage can be borne,
A new fresh dawn is emerging, the dawn of a better day.
But the world still sees only the shadows, the pain,
Ignoring the brilliance, the strength that remains.
Let us peel back the layers, the veil that conceals,
Uncover the narratives, the stories that heal.
For in the depths of Africa, a symphony resides,
Of voices unheard, where truth often hides.
Let us listen closely, to the whispers of the soul;
The souls of our ancestors, souls of the living,
To the rhythms of history, making the whole.
A continent of stories, waiting to be told,
A tapestry of dreams, in colors yet untold.

Kamerfthurred Atitso Ocloo Poem
My memory ascends to those bygone days,
When my stomach lay flat,
Afflicted by shabby pains,
Teetering on the brink of an ulcer.
Yet, since our serendipitous encounter,
A swift metamorphosis has graced my being,
Transforming my stomach in size and sensation.
The definitions of hunger, starvation, and peckishness,
Have faded into oblivion.
In their place, I have discovered,
The profound essence of true satisfaction.
Still,I, KAMERFthurred, find myself bereft of words,
To fully convey my gratitude.
One of my deepest wishes
Is to immortalize this poem as a living testament of thanks to you.
For any who read it,
May they understand, as you often shy away
From my expressions of gratitude.

Kamerfthurred Atitso Ocloo Poem
HOUSE AND MONEY OF MONE
Money can build a home, but,
It takes love to make it a house.
With a humble and delight request,
Love, can we build a home, I make.
Love, alone, can you stand as a foundation?
Be my shelter when it is due to rain?
A refuge in terms of danger?
Every brick altogether with every stone,
Have known, we, love be the foundation,
Into and out of amusement sounds and tears, share, we will,
A place of residence constructed on love, accompanied by no sole caution.
In this love house, peace shall be found,
A anchorage where hearts escapes from confinement.
To such a extent, let build this house with love,
And make it a home, sent from above.

Kamerfthurred Atitso Ocloo Poem
Angel without wings,
Like day without the night's gentle rings,
A song without a voice to sing,
A spark without a flame to cling.
A child without a name,
A sorrow that's hard to explain,
Like an ocean without a shore,
A soldier without a war.
How can we continue this way?
A song without a voice to say,
A spark without a flame to shine,
A child without a name, oh, so divine.
