Secret Pain

Before we grow up 
We don't know evil
We only know love 
Not any mean people

We go thru pain 
While others get hurt
They're called isane 
Names drug thru dirt

Stick by your family
Its all you got
And dont go rambling
Told, but not taught

They wear a smile
You hide the tears
For just a while
Now turns to years

Don't say a damn word
They won't believe you
Some thing's never heard
Very sad, but still true

Keep your lips sealed
Nope not a peep
The scars will heal still
Secrets you better keep

Nobody else can know 
Nobody ever cares
No evidence to show
Just too damn scared

It never gets better
Cuts just get deeper
Eyes only get wetter
Strength becomes weaker

Your whispers so low
Fears are so strong
Just a dead end road
Been way too long

They have control
They have all the power
Nowhere to go 
Ashamed of being a coward

Who am I to tell 
What will they say
I live here in hell
Wishing I'd die everyday

Love is joy, love is pain 
Some will find happiness 
It drives others insane
Some people say the feelings the same!

Love from your soul
Not with you heart
It will bring you together
Not tear you apart!

Always be loyal 
And always be true 
Don't do unto them
What you don't want done to you!

Most will have fun
Others will fight
No matter what 
Tell each other goodnight!

Do you ever wander
Beyond your own space
Sit stare and ponder
Or even feel out of place

Have you ever felt pain
Without knowing love
Ever lived life in vein
Or think your so tough

Ever admit a mistake or 
Just blame someone else
Have you ever tried to escape
Just to be by yourself

You ever look up above 
Or bowed your head to pray

Do you ever cry for no reason
Try to skip a special day
Forget about the seasons
Get angry, you just may

Do you cherish & love them
Do you hold them dear
So many messages sent
Just wishing they were near

Don't ever lose the will
Give up hope or lose faith

If they ever get any chance

With tears in my eyes
I look to the skies
I wonder why so many 
Would want to say bye

With love in my soul

Sorry easy to quit
Very hard to restart

How others are so mean
