Grateful and Guarded

I hold you like a fragile flame,
A gift so rare, it has no name.
Each moment with you feels divine,
Yet fear whispers, "This isn’t mine."

Your laughter lights the darkest skies,
A truth reflected in your eyes.
But as I bask in all you give,
I tremble at the life I live.

What if my love, so fierce, so strong,
Could somehow steer us both to wrong?
What if the weight of all I feel
Becomes the hand that breaks the seal?

You’re the dream I dared not chase,
A haven found, a sacred place.
And yet I fear this fragile thread
Could fray beneath the words unsaid.

So I’ll tread softly, step with care,
For love like ours is rich, yet rare.
Grateful always, but wary too—
Afraid of losing all of you.

Basketball Star

I practice with long, difficult, trials of

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

Try out for a team,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

Fail,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

Fail,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

rain,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

snow,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

hurt,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

pain,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

make the team,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

teammates score,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

I shoot,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

make it,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

score doesn't count.

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

teammates mad,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

shoot, no one sees,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

coach mad,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

no one passes me the ball,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

family mad,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

Loss,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

Disappointment,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

Fear,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

Anxiety,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

Heartbreak,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

Kicked off team,

Dribble Dribble Shoot,

No one wants me anymore.

Dribble Dribble.

Heat of Fortune

Breath comes quick, my chest feels tight,
A racing heart ignites the night.
Sweat beads glisten, skin runs hot,
Grateful flames in every thought.

Fortune's kiss, a trembling gift,
A weight I carried starts to lift.
Relief, a river, rushing fast,
The storm is gone, the fear has passed.

My pulse erupts, it pounds, it sings,
The joy of life in simple things.
I’m dizzy now, yet feel alive,
This is the proof: we will survive.

Luck, a fire that burns so bright,
Melts away the cold of night.
Grateful heat consumes my soul,
I’m whole, I’m safe—I’ve reached my goal.

Hawk Tuah - Remnants of my life

Hawk Tuah, Flock Tuah,
Struggles of dating a babe,
she treating me like a slave,
intimacy is what I crave.

Stupid girl,
Stupid me,
Why do I get fried
just so I don't remember I cried.

My Acrostic Poem

Kindred hearts once intertwined,
A love so rare, one of a kind.
Reaching out through time and space,
I long again for your embrace.
Soft whispers echo in my mind,
Stars align, our paths combined.
Amidst the silence, hope remains.

I carry love that never wanes.

Memories linger, sweet and true,
In every thought, I think of you.
Somehow, I know we’re not through,
Still believing in me and you.
Every tear and every sigh,
Dreams of you will never die.

Yearning for your gentle touch,
Only you, I love this much.
Under the stars, I’ll wait for you.

Double Trouble

Hitting it from the back,
It was so nice,
we did it twice.
