In Here

Hello, I’m in here
You talk above me, as you
call me dear
I may be trapped in this
decaying shell
But I am in here midst my
own private hell
You talk to your coworkers
of family and friends
While you bathe me and
dress me the message you
send
Is that you really don’t
care who lies here, who I
am
You just want your work
finished , you don’t give a
damn
I once was important just
like you are
To family and friends  I’d
travel so far
To comfort in death or
share in their joy
So to you and your friends
I must employ
As I lie here immobile,
helpless, diseased
Talk to me anyway, I beg
you oh please
I need to know that I still
exist
I may not respond but
please do persist
I’m in here

Alone

Anybody there?
Lost within my mind
Only one inside
No one cares to know
Endless rejection shown

Bullies

Before you cast your bitter
slurs
Understand that mind of hers
Long before you came along
Lies pain, rejection, already
wronged
Inside her mind she cannot
hide
Every hurt anew,
relived,revived
Stop now or risk her suicide

Oliver Smart Goes To the Olympics

Oliver Smart so full of
pride
Loved to toboggan, on his
bum he did slide
Yippee he would yell as he
conquered the hill
Maybe I’ll go to Vancouver,
compete, what a thrill
Pictures of gold medals in
his head did deluge
Instead to find out that his
sport was the luge
Crazy canucks he
exclaimed with a shout
Sorry boys but this Oliver’s
out

Mother-In-Law

Mother in law so full of hate
Objected to her son’s true mate
Though unjustified in her decision
Her hatred for her so blurred her vision
Everything the girl did or said
Repulsed her and she turned her head

Instead she missed a one true friend
Never to know what could of been

Let it be a lesson for some
Always get to know the wife of your son
Whereof you may have none

Willow

Oh willow tree

you'll not fool me

your happier than most

I watch you sway with
such delight

you mere can keep from
boast

I see no weeping

no woes worth keeping

and yet in form you droop

know this dear tree

you'll not fool me

as I rest upon your stoop

I'll collect my nuts

I'll carve my cuts

Into your nimble limbs

then you shall see

Why willows weep

as me and mine shall keep

a home sweet home

forever loaned

Inside of you so deep

Wait

Wait! Where are you going?

Why can't I come?

If you leave me now I'll do
something dumb

I really don't mean to be such a
grouch

But if need be I'll rip up the
couch

You better listen I'm not fooling
around

Unless you want toilet paper all
over the ground

To go with that paper you know
what I'll do?

You guessed it mister, I'll even
leave poo

I'll get in the garbage, I'll tear
it all up

I'm not going to take it, oh no
not this pup

I'll bark and I'll bark and make
such a noise

An incredible racket that no one
enjoys

So really you see you don't
have a choice

In my world honey, you don't
have a voice

I am the master and always will
be

so go get my ball, you're taking
me

Sleep

How hard it is to smile and
pretend
everything is just right.
Do they see through me?
Do they know my secret?
Smile, laugh, act
accordingly.
Everyone knows what i am
they sneer behind my back
but smile to my face.
I can’t move in regret,
disgust, vulgarity.
Why do I have to be with
people?
to earn a living?
I don’t want live.
My mind races with bad
thoughts of myself,
repeating to me I am bad,
not right, sick.
I believe this and know it
to be true.
Why did God want us to be
subjected to all this cruelty
when heaven is just a
sleep away?
Is it all just a test to which
I am failing?
Back to smiling.

Abused

Another day left out in the
bitter cold

Beaten and starving, he
does what he's told

Used and abused for one’s
own content

Save me he cries, from his
chains no relent

Endless people stroll
by,they pretend not to see

Death is the only hope for
a dog named Brandy
